Wembley was a hole and I wouldn't trade our three challenge cup wins in for one win at wembley, I don't get rovers fans fascination (that's if you are a rovers fan which I'm guessing you are) with wembley, probably 75% of your fan base has never been to the old wembley or even seen your team lift the challenge because it was that long ago and the length of time since that one challenge cup win is just going to get longer and longer.

Bought my tickets on Friday afternoon then watched the debacle on Friday night. I thought why have I wasted my money? A couple of days of calming down and decided I'll be there, along with the rest of "faithful", hoping that we put together the performance that we all know we're capable of.

I got 7 tickets on Saturday morning and was surprised how much the ticket office was busy. Like you say this is a one off and anything could happen on the day. I would like to think that there is still a 80 minute performance in us somewhere and I hope that day is this Sunday.

I hope there's TWO 80 minute performances in us (and I believe there are), we are not a bad side, but we are struggling in attack, but we knew that would be the case when Holdsworth and Horne were announced as the season pairing, Miller has shown glimpses but we still seriously need some creativity.

2005 was disappointing in the league considering how well we played during 2004, but even then we headed to Huddersfield with 5 wins and a draw from our last 6 games under out belt. Our performance that day was unexpectedly good (the best in my lifetime in fact) but it didn't just come out of nowhere, we were already picking up form.
