Super League show tonight - Ian Millward is asked questions about Widnes and mentions that they've signed Kevin Brown for next season and that it looks like they're starting to build a good team. He then says that Danny Tickle has been mentioned a lot as another Widnes signing.
Now, I doubt that Millward is a member of the rumourmills of Hull or Widnes. If he's hearing things like this then you would have thought that it's likely to be happening as it's been mentioned through players or clubstaff.

I would have thought for Widdop a big desire to get away from the Australian accent would be enough for a change of scene, combined with the fact Australia is cultural vacuum may also aid his desire to leave.
It does get hot in the summer, just be careful of melanoma.

| I live in Melbourne and I thought it would be hotter , however I love the summer here and Jan Feb was average 26c and we had 2 days at 40c only.
Melbourne is on the same lateral line as north hemisphere as Lisbon, Valencia but doesn't have the same Balearic hot endless sunny days summer !!! not at all , in fact Melbourne hasn't strung together 7 cloudless days in the 2 summers I have been here.
But it's mid winter here and 15c today and shorts for me when I take my daughter to tennis in 10 minutes time
