| Just got back from Beziers (was I the only person who drove!) and I can't believe our clueless coach dropped Calders (and Burnett), he is completely out of his depth.
Add to that Briscoe clearly wasn't fit !
You couldn't fault the players effort in the game but we still have no direction with ball in hand, not even any set moves, I can see the same thing next year with us just hoping Longy can do something off the cuff with this joker in charge.

Not you sir, but the average idiot tha thinks it's fine for the likes of King to be on the drink all week, the likes that think Agar is a decent coach, the likes that would have Mally Walker running the club.

'Deserved' is a bit harsh, but I think he's referring to the large number of fans who are all too eager to accept the mediocre or worse stuff that is served up by our club and simply spout rubbish about 'getting behind the lads', even criticising fans who want to ensure something is done to improve things as 'damaging the club' etc etc.
When we won against Celtic the other week I was astounded at the amount of people who cheered their heads off and seemed delighted with it, I left the ground feeling like we'd lost and thinking those people needed their heads testing because they are so blind to what was infront of them. Another example is a poster on here after Saturdays game who said something like 'I am a Hull FC fan, therefore I am a Richard Agar fan' as if such a statement of blind loyalty was something impressive. People like that deserve everything they get as far as our demise goes, the ignorance of it is astonishing.

Where do you get that from ? I don't think its sentiment here and not in the terraces where I sit.

See Uncle Juniors post for clarification.
It's a truth I can see, not one I like.

Yes, as do I, in fact, you'll find the majority of us do. Careful, it's a long way down from that high horse of yours.

Fan bases are a wide range of opinion and emotion. That is the same at most well supported sports clubs. I even once heard of a fan wanting his team to lose. It's amazing what extreme stances people will take.

If you are referring to me then yes I am wanting us to lose at the moment and it's not extreme at all. The season was over after the Rover's game and Agar has shown himself up to be completely inept (even you seem to have come around to that idea now?). I'm convinced that the best thing for this club in the long term is for Agar and Sharp to be removed, taking a pragmatic view I'm more than happy to lose a few 'dead rubbers' this season to improve the chances of this happening. I've accepted it is a sad state of affairs that it's got to that point but it's the way it is and I'm sure I'm not the only person who thinks like that.
I accept that fan bases are wide ranging in their opinions and emotions as you say and in many ways I'm glad blind faith fans exist because they will ensure the club always keeps going, but in this instance they are harming the long-term future of the club because the board knows a lot of people will turn up whatever e is being served up.

You said 'the fans'. What you ought to have said, then, is 'a very small percentage of the fans'. There really aren't that many who feel like you described.
And as for the Mally Walker thing, you obviously have a problem with him, but I don't see how you can say he would do a worse job than those currently in charge until he's actually been in the position of running the club. It's impossible to know.

The way it sounded inside the ground when we finally hit the front against Celtic you'd think we had just got through to OT. I know you have to cheer a win and can't blame people for that but it was absurd.

Maybe it was relief, our stadium has been a strange place for the last 2 seasons really, the strangest thing for me is when Saints came just after we found out we are getting Longy and when he went for goal kicks the stadium fell silent
Rugby is a family event children cheer when the team score or win, as parents should we be telling them not to cheer thus installing the wrong sporting ethics in them.
For the record I have neither booed or cheered.

Perhaps it was ironic cheering? Or just relief that we'd hit the front? Or maybe they cheered the team on the day, but still don't feel like everything's ok?
Most posters on here don't feel the way Standee described. Most (if not all) other Hull fans I know don't feel that way either.
