Dont't you think that with all his experience skill and knowledge of the game that he came over full of expectation and promise not only to FC but for himself also?
And do you think that despite his injuries and playing out of position for the good of the team most of last season (player of the year also), was done just to take the easy option/buck.
Have you considered that his thought process is probably too quick for those around him, and that he is in 'tempo' now with our game, because last season he was wayyyyyyyy ahead of anybody we had .
Do you also not think that his fitness skill and speed he had in Aus that gained International and SOO honours would hold him in good stead for SL and that he was more than willing and able to bring with him, to give something to our great club.
I believe he is far too good and is of a higher standard to those around him, I also believe that he has tried to lead by example, but again those around him let him down.
As said by someone else, Steven Gerraed would look sheite at Hull City.
And if Berrigan is on the pi$$ I for one wouldn't blame him because this amount of disillusionment is enough to drive any man to drink.
