Cas would want a huge fee for him, throw in his wage demands and would it be such a good idea to sign a Kiwi coming into his prime just for 2-3 seasons who must surely have aspirations of going home and making it in the N.R.L?
Would rather have the likes of Ellis who if we look after him could be here for the next 10 years.

Pearson has already said he's willing to flash some cash to put us back on the SL map, I personally can't think of any better realistic candidate than arguably the best half in the league who, as you point out, is entering his prime. If he wanted to go home after 2 or 3 years of playing for us like he's done for Cas but amongst better players then he'd have more than served his purpose. His wages wouldn't be an issue because we'd only be paying them for as long as he's here. I personally don't think it's gonna happen, but if it did there's no reason we can't have him and Ellis on the books.

Hopefully the new regimes on and off the pitch will drive some bloody ambition back into you!

I was in a pub called "The Box", in Headingley, prior to the game yesterday, just quietly watching the Saints Wigan game, with my 2 sons. They mentioned to me that Rangi Chase had walked in, actually he was stood just a couple of metres away from us with a 2 or 3 of his mates, well away from any crowd . I went over to him, asked him if was coming to Hull FC, he simply replied "yeah mate" no playing up to his mates, no laughing or messing about, I don't believe his mates actually heard either my question or his answer, he was totally straight faced.

Now I know this does not mean a thing, it could be a wind up on his part as both of my sons told me straight away, and maybe thats all it is.

But that was my question to him and that was his answer. I said no more to him.

But this is the Rumours board and that's what Rangi told me, so it's more horses mouth than rumour , we'll have to see.
I Just hope it's right.
