First half - we started well, Hadley played great for twenty mins but the other forwards were invisible apart from little glimpses from Pea. The game the went a little falt and dos di we and as soon as Wire lifted there game we was getting cut up. For me the forwards needed to up their game and the play the ball speed needing improving
Second half - Radford had obviously seen the same, tempo was up'd, play the ball speed was up, forwards was much better. Pryce was fantastic and really tried hard. Cunningham came on and was great. Whiting played really well throughout. Mini had another good game, whiting too.
Overall quite happy, a game we could of won but Wire were the better side. We lost it in the forwards imo but Eliis could of been the difference. Green was the worst forward for Hull and really needs to up his game. Why didn't Feka play?'"
Thought green was good. Best I've seen him for a while.

I agree the disrupted backline didn't help. We lacked the size of Sa & Talanoa and the creativity & speed of Shaul. Whiting and Yeaman didn't do much wrong, but sadly don't have the pace to be a threat in the backline anymore. |

Not happy with the result but more than satisfied with the effort. Big games from Paea, Houghton, Mini and Whiting. Cunningham and Michaels both did well too. Good noisy support from the fans. Plenty of positives but we need to build on them against Salford.

houghton looked offside to be fair.
Excellent defensive effort tonight but we do suffer when watts and paea are off the field which means radford is having to give them long minutes. Cant be too disappointed with a 1 point loss against one of the comps best teams when we had some key players out. Still a lot of work to do on our attack but encouraging signs |

No doubt that Green and Bowden are nowhere near as good as Paea and Watts. Maybe we should organise the interchanges so we always have one of our best props on if possible. |

Definitely need improving. Halves are fine, need a platform and runners. |

These two need to have massive seasons if we are to continue with them and I just don't see that they will - never been a fan of either. Give them a few more games to see if they can up it and if not then let HTW have a go |

I said we were light in the props dept pre-season unless these two kicked on, just hope Watts stays injury free or we are going to be in bother.

Great effort all round. Average with ball in hand - needs improving. Nothing between the two sides over the game but we are less effective when our bench prop rotation comes on.
