If they keep that up next season in SL, I can see them starting trouble for themselfs with some teams and losing away fans who will refuse to be treated in such a way.'"
Surely they're the same stewards who are doing the saints games? |

Just for the record me and the daughter didn't get in the ground till just before kick off and found 2 seats easy, was sat near the bottom right corner, loads of seats round there so why they made people sit outside the stand is beyond me, stewarding was a joke to say the least, at times they was stood directly in front of us blocking our veiw, needless to say they got asked politely to get out the bleedin way!!, on a more positive note had a good day out, never saw any bother between hull and widnes fans and in the hat for quarter finals, job done!.

Didn't realise Widnes had any fans there to have trouble with!!! Shocking turn out by them.
Re the stewards this happened in front of me and i thought they where OTT to say the least, then the steward who was 'dealing' with the situation came out with that old chestnut...."nothing to do with me i'm only following orders"   |

just read through the thread ,for what its worth, the players coach took some over the top abuse as it snaked out of that area too which was unusual....
within the stadium I always found the stewards good guys TBH ,

Plus the bald headed steward who came to have a "quiet " word with one Hull fan for sticking two fingers up to a decision and disrupted that section for about 10mins walking away calling everyone Yorkshire scum. |

I was sat in the North Stand with the Widnes fans, I saw a few lads being told by the stewards, looking at how full the stand was it was pretty obvious what it was about.. couldn't understand why they couldn't have just lifted up the netting and let them sit down!!
Anyway it was my first ever Rugby League game, It was a brilliant match, really enjoyed it and now will attend more games with my new adopted local club, Salford.
