Thats fair enough but for someone who likes both equally you have to think about the money and if your getting your money worth.

But you're not, you are comparing what you pay to get in, not what it costs, the fact that Abramovich is still happy with his train set is great for Chelsea fans, but when he gets bored, they're f'd.

Thats fair enough and i agree the prices are expensive when you consider football is unfortunately the national game of this country and RL is pretty much a M62 sport only regardless of the RL trying to push it elsewhere.

What makes our prices even more expensive is when you consider i can go and watch 3 games including us in Wales for less money. I can also go watch the CC final cheaper and the grand final.

However with a season pass it does drop the price down substantially from £24 to around £17

Got my pass on Saturday and the first for my 7 year old. Talking to the an ex colleague of mine who now works at the ticket office, she told us there are a lot who haven't renewed.

It's not a valid comparison I agree. If Chelsea didn't have the rich backer that absorbs the losses the prices would be much higher. In fact I'd suggest Scott makes the most of it while he can because their are plans to bring in new rules to force clubs to live within their means in the premiership so the days of rich backers absorbing large losses will be over. Either prices will be going up or players wages will be going down. I think we all know which will happen.

As for the FC season pass, it is very good value but only because the walk up price is very high, which is probably why we have such excellent season pass sales figures. I think we have made the decision to renew in the east stand and just hope we don't get sat near some cretins for the whole season without the option of moving anymore.
