Yep, cheers mate, I'd originally put "last night" but then amended it. He came off the bench last week and started the game this weekend.

Hopefully Longy can be back within the same timeframe.

it's harder for a ball playing back to come back as soon, he'd need 100% movement back in it. A forward could get away with lots of strapping. Cordobas was a really bad one tho.

Saw Longy on Kingston road yesterday with his family.....had nearly all his arm strapped up....couldnt tell if it was bandage or a cast as i was driving....he looked ok in himself.

It wouldn't shock me at all if longy is back for playoffs. He alway came back just in time for challenge cup semis/finals and playoffs and grand finals.

After watching the replays today, I still maintain that it was totally unnecessary for Willie Manu to put a shot on! Had all the time in the world to see that Long had lined him up.

So what? Just because someone else might make the tackle doesn't mean you then can't go for a big hit. In fact, big hits often come about because the ball carrier is expecting to be hit by someone else and it is the surprise impact from a different angle that increases the chance of the ball being lost. Manu's done it countless times in similar situations over the years and will rightly continue to do so.

Seen the replay and it looks like one of those freak incidents that could have happened anytime. No blame at all for Manu.

would hve thought they would reposition it then set it in a 90 degree cast for aboout a month

Its about as bad as I have ever seen, he will not play again this season thats for sure.

Hope we are in the market for a new h/back because it is getting stupid now.
