cant coach pace but can increase his pace from astanding start. for me if he had pace he woud be international standard. Defence and attack, he is so clever without even trying

East Hull FC was chief contributor if I remember rightly with a couple of others featuring heavily. Must be a coaches dream to have a player you can rely on like you can Rich, could see loads of takers if he came up for grabs anytime soon.

Another thing about Whiting is his ball handling skills. He picks up the ball as clean as anyone I've seen, no matter how difficult the bounce or speed it's kicked. A bit like S Briscoe, but Whiting doesn't put his head in danger.

I'm really pleased for Whiting. To come back from a run of horrendous injuries and play like he is ,takes some doing. My only concern for him is next season as Agar doesn't seem to favour a creative 13 in the side and if Fitz re-signs ,that avenue looks blocked for him. The outside backs need the cash next season for strengthening imo . And with Hall, Calderwood, Whiting and Yeaman all ooc at the end of the season , Maybe 2 of these could be disappointed.
Personally , I'd like him to stay.

Whiting needs to be signed up and sharpish! We fans can't be the only people who see his worth, so if we don't do the right thing and tie him down then I reckon a lot of super league teams would snap him up without thinking twice! 3 year deal please FC!!

Me too, always does well and rarely plays badly. I thought he was superb today.

I wouldn't move him to the back row for wire though, we haven't got any wingers! in fact i wouldn't move him till next season.

I think people are doing him a dis-service sating he is a solid player, I think he is better than that.

Has to be kept, seems to be having better luck with injuries, sign him up with the others ASAP, hopfully this will be one positive of Agar signing a contract is that we start to get players signed on.
