| Any signing can be an injury risk, Nu Brown was advised to retire a few years ago following an injury, but very few fans on here have raised concerns about this since he signed. Moylan is a good signing for Leigh and hope he goes well in super League

Spot on Steve0. Any signing can be an injury risk. You guys' have had your fair share of bad luck with injuries, so maybe it could change for next season. Best of luck to all teams next year, and hope to see some good quality rugby.

I've not questioned his quality, just his durability. He'll be nowhere near MOS btw

| Shorrocks is a good pick up for Salford.
They confuse me a bit, as one minute they’re talking about the club going under, the next they’re handing out three year deals.
Moylan is a good signing for Leigh. Hope it works out for them.

Not with his form and injury record he is a kind of signing we would have made under Hodgson, could be a Seizer (Hudds spell) or a Reynolds. We couldn't take the risk with that type of signing, Leigh have good enough pivots to maybe take this risk.

Salford placed in "special measures" I know we won't pay a fee but their are one or 2 players I wouldn't mind from Salford.
Feels like fans have had their pants down with the crowd funding nonsense. Has a Bradford feel about it

| Hope Salford get everything sorted, it's never nice to see a club going down this path.

I don't know what the implications of what "special measures" are but it doesn't sound good.
It just highlights the farce of the IMG gradings that Salford were awarded a "B" and top of that grade as well. They seem to lurch from one crises to another but hopefully things will be sorted out because as a game we can't afford to lose big(ish) city clubs like Salford.
However, if they have to shed one or two players to keep alive Watkins would be a good pick up for us.
I hope it doesn't come to that.

This was introduced by the RL a while back. I think after the Bradford fiasco. As far as I can remember clubs are usually put in special measures if they have asked the rl for an advance on their Sky money or a short term loan. They are also placed there id f they delay players wages or the payment of shared gate receipts to other clubs, plus I think covering stuff up or none compliance with monitoring agreements when a club has loaned money from the RFL also puts them into special MEASURES.
It's a worrying development especially as has been said on here they have had fans investing in the club in good faith but the writing was on the wall when the deal for the ground with the council hit the buffers and they announced that they wouldn't be operating up to cap. The reduction in Sky income this season won't have helped either I feel for their fans but Adam said years ago at a fans forum when Londons case was raised that he couldn't see how a fans owned club could ever survive long term in super league. And although that is not totally the case here the financially fragile re-structuring of the club after KouKash left, when he 'left the club to the fans' was always a worry.
As has been said though quite how They are graded at the top of B by Img and then days later put under special measures by the RFL is baffling. Once again it seems one hand doesn't know what the other is doing. No doubt the RFL will come out with some convoluted explaination and all will be well ....until the next time!!

| I don't get Salford, one minute they're crying poverty, next minute they're signing new players and inviting fans on a trip to watch them do their pre season training in Portugal

| I don't understand why anyone would sign for Salford under the clubs current financial climate . There's been plenty of horror stories regarding clubs who were in a similar position and players not getting paid .
The stadium fiasco isn't helping their cause either . I hope I'm wrong but the near future of the club doesn't look good at all .

| Luis Johnson has been mentioned a fair bit on here - he has signed for Castleford.

Will be very surprised if we bring anyone else in now.
Think Ashworth and Scott will be used in the second row with Staveley, Jebson and Severs to play there too.
