He looked pretty good in the few games he played but didn't want to be here.
Pearson was fuming with him when he went home I remember.

| Ryan Sutton might be available, would be a very good signing, doubt we could afford him or he would come here though, but should be looking at making him an offer.

He would a good signing but we are well covered for middle forwards.
Sao or Ashworth could be moved to second row but they are both more effective through the middle.
I doubt we could afford him in any case.

| But think you are right, expect him to sign for Leeds or Catalans if he comes. Wouldn't rule out Rovers either.

That looks a strong starting 6 but I'm not convinced Ashworth was brought in as a second rower.

This from his interview when he signed makes me think that he amd Smith have had a conversation about him playing in the backrow.
“If he wants me to add a little bit of speed and a little bit of agility, I also feel that I’m able to add those components to the pack too. I’ve also got the ability to play out on the edge or in the middle, so I’m willing to put my hand up to do a job for the team when needed.”

| I think Ashworth could prove to be a very very good signing for us but he needs a settled position, hopefully he won't be messed about between the front and back rows too much and can settle into one position.

| Quote: Marcus's Bicycle "Agree about Scott. Up until last season I saw little to suggest he would become a regular SL player but after a number of impressive performances I was pleased to admit I was wrong. As you say his best performances were at centre and that's where he should be allowed to develop. In future he may transition to SR but at present he doesn't have the physicality to make the switch.
Right about Litten. He had to play too many games due to Hoy being out but he's only 20 and still has lots of development in him. You have to be patient with youngsters. Don't write them off if they have one or two average games. We can't afford to.'"
Tbf to Scott and any player his age and experience Covid probably came at a bad time, months of training alone then it was very stop start when it returned.

Dear oh dear
Did he really post that about Ashworth?
If we posted anything like that about a Rovers player he would be complaining and jumping to their defence
Unbelievable

| Looks like London are pulling their academy teams from next season.
Not good news.

I agree about been patient
But he had alot more than "1 or 2 average games"
Made alot of schoolboy errors
Could understand the youngster argument if he was 17 but he's 20
Remember Richard Horne been a GB International at 19
Look how good welsby has been and he's only 22 even now

| You are writing him off because he wasn't an international at 19?
