| Hoping for some word or suggestion of a back-rower. My only reservation next year is “converting” players and this is where it’s likely to occur.
The addition of a proven SL standard back-rower equals a pack that can push us on. I’m excited to see Hoy, Brown, Walker, Trueman, Smith play off a good forward platform.
I think on paper we are 6th/7th next year, but with a winning/competing pack we could surprise.
My hopes for next year are simply improvement, entertain and no capitulating.

That's what concerns me but where we get a decent SR is anyone's guess.

That's basically what I've said all along yet get hammered for it

Thought so, you make things up to suit your argument.

| Noticed Litten is spending a lot of time with Mikey Lewis from his social media, and of course his cousin is over t'other side. The club are going to have to decide fast is he the future or not. Personally think a loan spell may be good for him, otherwise he's going to be bit part cover at full back and wing.

| Loan spell would do him good IMO. Still young definitely has something about him. But at the moment needs game time. Few issues with his play but those can be ironed out.

| Think we might see Cam Scott in the second row next season judging by Trueman's comment on his instagram post yesterday.

| The club obviously see something in Scott in the backrow and see his long term future there, not sure I've seen that yet, thought his best games where at centre and would prefer to see Carlos there and Scott at centre, but I don't see what goes on behind closed doors.
On Litten I don't see any issue, both Hoy and Walker seem to be a bit injury prone and Hoy will play a lot in the half's, so Litten will get a few games, he is only 20 and last season played 18 games, which is very good and probably a few too many, he is mates with Mikey and Jez, but still think if he develops his game, he will be our long term fullback.

| Sadly his game went backwards last season, confidence seemed to go, 18 games were too many last season.
Definitely talented, clearly needs to bulk up which will really help.
Just hope not another talent we are unable to develop into a decent first team regular.

| Yeah the comment on Cam's Instagram was interesting, whether it was in jest or not, it's unclear

My concern with Litten is his lack of link up play ability
Not sure that can be coached as we saw with Shaul
He also needs to be working on his speed when retrieving the ball

Agree about Scott. Up until last season I saw little to suggest he would become a regular SL player but after a number of impressive performances I was pleased to admit I was wrong. As you say his best performances were at centre and that's where he should be allowed to develop. In future he may transition to SR but at present he doesn't have the physicality to make the switch.
Right about Litten. He had to play too many games due to Hoy being out but he's only 20 and still has lots of development in him. You have to be patient with youngsters. Don't write them off if they have one or two average games. We can't afford to.

| Wonder if Litten saw McKinnon play…he used to saunter across for the ball but by Christ, what a fullback he was…oozed class.
