The thing is just say hypothetically, Hull City kicked you out (don't get into all the arguments i know they can't) and a new stadium was built for HullFC that was identical to The Stoop in every single aspect, would you be happy playing out of that stadium? The answer is of course you would BUT if you had to play at NCP or BV would you be happy, i know i wouldn't.

Yes to the first question, no to the second.

Don't get the downer on The Stoop at all - excellent ground IMO. And you can get fish and chips, even scampi, and a Mr Whippy. A "no-brainer".

Always had a good time at The Stoop. Just a shame the local Londoners didn't agree and stayed away. More fool them.

(Beer was flat as hell, though, but the bar was relatively well-staffed.)

Quote: Paul T - HKR "How on earth Mrs B was allowed to introduce thread drift I don't know lol! But she did mention the KDC and inferred from this that the Council own MS3CP. I think consideration as to who owns the KDC is called for first before making it a fact or even an assumption.

As far as I am aware, the KDC is a non-profit organisation (unlike the SMC) which is the acting caretaker and legal gaurdian of the land leased by the Council to Hull Kingston Rovers Limited. A nominal rent (undisclosed) is paid annually. HKR Ltd 'own' the leases and are liable for all repairs and maintenance of the property assigned under the leases. HKR Ltd have to aply for development of leasehold land from the KDC.

The qestion is who are the main parties running the KDC? The answer to this I don't know!!!!! However, an old mucker of mine Don Robinson told me when Gainsgroup was no longer required (once the CVA had been satisfied), the new organisation would be fronted by the Chairperson of HKR Ltd, a representative from the Council and another party (in Gainsgroup it was a local foirm of chartered accountants). I don't know if this happened.'"

At least Phil Lowe did well from raping local businesses in the "satisfying" your 1p in the £ CVA. You want to stop burying your head in the sand.

Well said that man. At least most Hull fans are now seeing how Rule et al raped us. Yet the poor reds just can't see what happened with them.

Would love to say Belle Vue as I can't stand Wakey, the club, fans or ground. On the other hand though, Odslum is terrible, hole in the ground, exposed to the elements, bully bully and other assorted cr&p piped through the PA.

Dont bother coming to Wakey this season can do with people who have such an opinion on ALL supporters, the club and ground, just FYI new stands are going up but dont bother sampling them just struggle along in your lovely ground (I mean that best in the league) will I be coming to Hull too right it doesnt mean I am loved up but I support my team and the sport nothing against Hull I used to ship out of there many years ago.

Quote: WormInHand "What a ridiculous question. Craven Park, as well as being full of Rovers fans, has the worst view, the most exposure to the elements, the most unhygienic loos, weeks-old waste trampled underfoot, and a plastic stand through which one's foot can plunge at any time exposing the sheer drop beneath. Unpleasant and unhealthy. Anyway, Wakey has nice chips.'"

Your post seems to contradict itself somewhat, now I understand the bias but I struggle to understand how you say it can have the worst view leading to think your talking our south stand then go on to criticise the plastic seats which would mean you are talking of the north. I'd struggle to see how anyone who's been to cas can criticise our loo's. Look I know you lot are biased but at least remain consistent.

There are a number of grounds that are below standards, one of which I believe even got a grade A licence even though it has a stand open to the elements and another one half closed because its crumbling.
If the question is, which is the ground I least like visiting then I reckon it would be either Odsal or the Galpharm but latters as much for rugby reasons as anything else.

Surely your reasons for hating the stoop could be applied to yourselves in the KC.

the willows was like down town Mogadishu, Odslum is by far the worst but is one of the better organised away grounds, the welcome you get a L**ds is the worst in the game, staff and supporters alike, looking forward to the new Saints ground this season and the trip to Casvegas.
