We'll be able to validate your statement that things are heading in the right direction financially if/when Rovers file their accounts. Hudgell's hardly going to say "we'll continue to make 6 figure losses until we fold" is he?  |

Only Tansey can cover 7 and Id say that is at a push, if long is injured for a period of time we are in big trouble, im not sure what the solution is as I cant think of a player who would fit the bill in terms of wages and willingness to play second fiddle to Long, but it is a big concern, the 2008 season showed us what a big difference there is between having a good halfback on the field and not.
I watched a bit of Turner when Salford were in the national league and I was impressed, great athlete decent pair of hands but never a playmaker in a million years, not a halfback I think people are expecting a different player, ive seen his name mentioned a few times with covering Long now. |

Personally, I would have liked a decent centre/halfback or just some young promising 2nd choice scrum half but I'm quite happy with our squad for next season and we should be more than competitive.

What about signing(s) that have already being made but are waiting to be announced? Perhaps Long's "mate" or the Leeds young half will be announced this week now the Leeds and Saints season is finished?
