My worry is that we appear to be drifting from the 'young and English' with Elima/Lovegrove/McDonnell.......hope Elima is a smokescreen for Burgess/Copzcak.

if you continue on the post i state that if moa stays or we sign like for like that would match anyones front row and it would. its not the pack that needs to improve its the creativity in the halves and a specialised fullback then we would be challenging for honours imo

Someone told me that the deal had already been signed. Could be nonesense of course, as could all rumours, but kind of fits in with what was said on your board, about him actually being offered less money than was already on IIRC

I really do trust and believe Pearson, McRae and Gentle will pull off a BIG name player or two.
I don't want a Bradford or HKR cast off, I want a Queensland or NSW player  |

It is my understanding, FWIW, that Rovers retention is almost done.
Lovegrove , Cox and Hall amongst others ,already signed up.
The only outstanding contract left is Galeas. |

If thats the case and im not saying it isnt wouldnt you have expected the club to have anounced it straight away just to give your fans another big lift (not that you need it at the minute) |

I think we"ll sign 1 of either watts or lovegrove . Was thinking lovegrove until he was captain on Monday and i thought we did we want watts this season when we have plenty of forwards . Does anyone think we're getting watts now and paying him a lot more this season out of McKinnons wage so we have more to spend next season on hopefully a couple of top signings .
