I cant believe some people want rid of Dowes, not just on this thread either.

He's one of the most professional, hard working and loyal players we have. If all the players had his attitude, we'd be in a much better position.

He executes his role within the team well, it's some of the forwards around him, the interchange policy and the crap strategy that are the problems.

We resign Cusack taking up an overseas quota spot yet we so nearly signed Andy Lynch why not offer him a bit more and we could have him, does long stints and could have done better job than Yak

Completely agree with his effort etc but that is not enough for international standard

for me he is a average prop who would get no where near international level now; ok he is a grafter and an 80 minute prop but i think Maloney could do a better job than him

Or how about he is getting flogged to death every match now that Cusack is out injured.......he was on fire at the start but is getting played too much.

I agree, SL's moved on from these one dimensional workhorses

he's done a great job for the club in the past, but we have to make drastic changes to move forward.

He is looking absolutly shattered each game now but im not basis the judgement on this season
