Would be happy with those 5 props plus an NRL player, Elima (would rather sign Lovegrove) and Watts could also play in the backrow if needed.
FB and Stand off are the key. I certainly make a move for Mcdonnell, who I have to admit looked poor,but has been very impressive recently.

That's why I mentioned 6 props, Watts can cover the back three too. Lovegrove could also do this as he can play all over including wing and standoff. |

I would sign Lovegrove but not Watts who has attitude issues and can't get in Hull KR's team whether he's talented or not. |

My worry is that we appear to be drifting from the 'young and English' with Elima/Lovegrove/McDonnell.......hope Elima is a smokescreen for Burgess/Copzcak.

if you continue on the post i state that if moa stays or we sign like for like that would match anyones front row and it would. its not the pack that needs to improve its the creativity in the halves and a specialised fullback then we would be challenging for honours imo

I really do trust and believe Pearson, McRae and Gentle will pull off a BIG name player or two.

It is my understanding, FWIW, that Rovers retention is almost done.
Lovegrove , Cox and Hall amongst others ,already signed up.
The only outstanding contract left is Galeas. |
