| Very encouraging performance. I rarely reference the referee, but Child had two laughable stints on Hull's line today. I thought there was an obstruction in the play before Shaul's (deserved) sin-binning which would have meant us getting a penalty on Wire's 10, as opposed to going a man down. I'd like to see the "knock on" from Talanoa too. He fumbled it backwards but from what I could see there was no separation for the supposed knock on.
Our intensity in defence was great overall today, pretty obviously seeing that we nilled them in the second half despite being hammered for penalties and possession. The players looked switched on and pumped up in the warm-up. Houghton and Ellis in particular were immense in effort, one set Houghton made 5 tackles. Paea and Bowden both led from the front, Westerman looks in very good shape. Feka made little impact though.
On the halves, Rankin was disappointing today, think they scored off a penalty he conceded, not involved enough. Azza looked very lively, always looked a threat. Our attack looks transformed from last year, we seem to have a structure and organisation, and looked to spread the ball much more. Didn't always come off, but way more entertaining than last year.
Our discipline though is absolutely killing us. In both the last 2 matches we've been in the game, absolutely, but gifted quality opposition way too much ball and been appropriately punished. Can't go on if we're to have a good season. Got to take 4 points from the next couple of games. With Carvell and Tuson back, hopefully, Friday is a "must win".

| Quote: Hessle Roader "I refuse to listen to blunderside and instead had radio merseyside on with Alan Rooney and Ray French. Much as I think he's past his sell by date French gave a good impartial commentary and was very complimentary about our team and Minty in particular.'"
The reason he seems impartial, and was complimentary to Hull is because him and his sidekick are from Sintellins, and hate Warrington.
The pair of doddering demented fools need putting out of their misery.

Sounds familiar.

| Not a fan of talking about the ref but Child was terrible. Anytime Ratchford, MM or Myler put there hands up they got a penalty. So many poor decisions, England was aloud to be treated on the pitch with a bust nose whereas Horne had to leave and nearly punished. Both teams was laying on for the full game yet Hull was the only team that kept getting penalized. He simply lost the plot.
Westerman, Paea and Heremaia Hulls stand outs for me. Horne and Rankin struggled again, for next week id go with Heremaia starting at 6. Not sure why Whiting didnt come on till 60-65mins. Crookes and Lineham looked dangerous with ball in hand.

For next week i'd start Azza and Horne with possibly Miller on the bench. Azza moving to 9 when Miller comes on.

| Thought you contested throughout & your players gave 100%. Your fans were very good as well, gave your team a good ovation at the end of the game.

| Rarely i will call the ref but he was awful today and cost us a win. I would also mention that the sub policy from radders could be questioned. Overall though i am pleasantly surprised this season.

can not disagree with this only to add when Horney got sent to the side lines by Childs for having blood on his face then not even affording us the opportunity to bring a replacement on for the full set of 6 we then had to defend on our line was to me as near to cheating to give the other team an unfair advantage as I have ever witnessed childs was a disgrace today we never got anything from the guy in there red zone, I am very proud of the way we preformed today against all the odds I thought we honestly deserved the win but I am very Boyed by the performance and effort we will win plenty this year with effort like this well done Fc today

Total double standards, separately he let their player be treated on the pitch and delayed the scrum until he was ready.

Exactly he was a disgrace and clearly bias I'm just proud of the way the team defended that set of 6 which was already a repeat set of 6 on our line we will not do bad this year if we can repeat that effort in defence today week in week out

Horne was picked out by Child's on the Warrington tryline after being held up on the last tackle. Horne refused to be treated throwing the towel at your physio and running back to join the defensive line. He was next seen by Childs near to your tryline when he told him to leave the field.
Childs spoilt the flow of the game and he was not consistent in his decisions. Good away showing as normalfrom you. Both teams had players missing and will improve as the season moves on.

| don't get the shaul criticism on here, ok he got sin binned and rightfully so, but as mrs barista pointed out, he wouldn't have been if childs had penalised myler for obstructing crooks on ratchfords break, again seems warrington got the 50/50 and favourable calls when needed, first attack of the game from fc, lineham held down by one of their players, should have been a penalty at the least, shaul gets binned for similar! talonoa didnt knock on as there wasnt any seperation, it was directly in front of us!
again like many, the blood situation, childs could have held up play for horne, he didnt want too! one rule for one, one for another!

If he had have done that to a player in your team when you was defending desperately to stay in the game and basically thrown a defender out of the line without giving you the chance to replace for a full set you would have been furious he was a fooking disgrace simple and you know it he is not fit to ref a kids game
