Think whoever was winding you up Wolf, according to the interview on Humberside yesterday Royce said Saints came yesterday and stayed over, doubt Ganson would have come yesterday as well tbh.

Don't think Ganson was as bad as some are making out but Saints did seem to get the rub of the green, two decisions that no one has mentioned but I thought were really key ones.

Saints put a kick up and it bounces, Lauaki gets a hand to it and it goes back, Obst picks it up and is penalised for offside. Now Obst was in front of Lauaki when it was touched but he ran behind him and when he picked it up he was a couple of yards behind Lauaki, therefore he is onside. Saints didn't score from there but I felt it was a momentum changer.

Also really late in the game when the scores were level Saints kicked (Wilkin?) from half way and Meli was a couple of metres offside, he then tackled Whiting pretty much as soon as he caught it. Should have been a penalty roughly on halfway and we could either have had a shot at goal to try to win it or put it in the corner, driven for the posts and slotted one over.

Happened a few times that.

Regarding the 'obstruction' try . Would it have been a try if it had been a player , and not the referee , that caused the obstruction ?

I didn't think there was alot in it tbh, he made contact with Ogre but Ogre wasn't getting anywhere near Roby. If it was a player then it may have been chalked off but the ref is classed as part of the field so it's irrelevant, Ganson had to give it.
