i dont agree with it tbh, i dont think hes as slow as some make out, hes a crash centre he dosen't have the gile of gidley but not many do. my main critisim is that he still cant put his winger away.

Fully agree, when he's got plenty of ball and on his game he's one of the best at it. Hopefully this is what Long will bring out in him, along with others who have under achieved since not having structure and organisation in the backs.

Wouldn't he of counted on seasons cap if we just paid him off? my understanding is that he got told he can look for another club as he has no future at hull and that was it.

but if he counts on the cap hes stopping us either bringing somone else in or promoting another youngster to full time training.
