| Salford is a shambles. Hasnt Mcdonald already said he's going back to Oz? I can't really see us signing anyone from them. I don't think anyone in the squad improves us longer term who isn't quota and doubt we'd get a 2 or 3 year dispensation for a quota player so a non starter

| People doubted Cust and Hardaker. Turned out well. Happy to leave it to Myler and Cartwright. Sure they?ll do the right thing for the club.

| Dan's latest article talks about Bell maybe coming off quora.
Bower said last week that the quota changes wasn't happening.
Crazy that when clubs are trying to organise recruitment, no one definitely knows what the quota rules will be next season.

Is anyone surprised? Can anyone name a professional governing body more incompetent and amateur than the RFL?

| This time last year we didn't even know what the relegation situation was. Do we even know for certain for this year yet?

End of the season when he picks up his severence pay Good to your positive posting back. Be interesting to get your thoughts on the work Myler has done, since you have spent nearly a year slagging him off?

| Mr. Zucchini Head:UllFC:hullandbroncos:
Knight best prop on the pitch for me got to keep him somehow
I agree, if the Bell deal isn't done we have to question which is the better option. Both are the same age. I like Bell, but as we've all said from the moment we were linked with him, the quota situation makes his signing less attractive. With Hardaker looking good in the second row and Litten showing really good signs backfilling for him at centre I just don't think Bell offers good value for that quota spot. If the deal isn't done I would be looking at Knight instead I think. Assuming Knight wants to stay of course. If we keep Knight, and sign Hill, Batchelor and Bailey, I think the pack is about sorted for next year. There are a lot of decisions to make next year regarding who plays where in the backline. We signed Pryce as a 6, but I really like the Pryce, Cust, Sezer and Asiata combination. I also think we would all agree that we would like to see Martin and Barron as the first choice wingers, and that we would like to see a top centre. So where does that leave Rapana and Briscoe? Cartwright seems to really think highly of Litten and you would hope he will only get better as the season goes on. Maybe we won't sign a centre. Maybe we will see a backline of Pryce, Martin, Litten, Rapana and Barron. With Briscoe able to cover either centre or wing, and Chamberlain as back up. Some tough calls for Myler and Cartwright to make to a) keep improving the squad, and b) keep everyone happy and keep that team spirit going strong. Bell seems an odd signing given he is a quota player We dont know the situation with Knight but if it was Bell or Knight you have to go with Knight in a position we need and on current form we would be lucky to find a replacement as good and value for money given he had thoughts of retiring before he came as no clubs came in for him.

| Salford in a right mess , The Council are now saying their not going to give the Reds anymore cash . Wonder if the RFL will allow other clubs to sign their overseas players without counting on the quota .
