unlike your set of props who were part of the 'best' pack in superleague last season according to your staff!

“We will not accept a top eight finish as a barometer of supposed success at any point in the future whilst I am the owner of this club.
Thats why you got the Bullet Agar...Adam Pearson wants winners...not useless gits like you.

Poore was only a decent prop and you got your socks out.

| Poore was only a decent prop, no arguments from me there, Amor was the star prop who left Wakefield.

I think that as has been said by a previous first time poster who seems to have a bit of insider knowledge, all the signs indicate that he has already signed a very lucrative deal to join us in 2016. However to get it cleared up it would be a good question to ask Adam Pearson at the next fans forum a week on Tuesday.

| How can he have signed a deal with us when we can't even speak to him until middle of next season? Any contract he has signed would be unenforceable anyway if he changes his mind

| Rupes is brilliant, didn't post on here the last few games of the season and not until they signed a few players, wonder why?
The fact that Wigan fans are very disappointed that he isn't staying says it all.

| Quote: carl_spackler "But they only don't want him because he wants out, if this hadn't all kicked off he'd most likely still be in their team and staying.
Contracts have gotten far too much about being for the player's benefit only. If a club want rid of a player, they have to pay him off, but if a player wants out the club are expected to stand aside and let him go (wherever he wants and for free, whilst they have to search for a replacement and possibly incur more costs to do so). It would be a lot easier if both players and clubs stuck to signing contracts they were either willing to honour, or prepared to suffer the penalties within.
If Sneyd has a great year and gets tapped up by Wigan/Saints/Wire, can you see us being happy to let him go for nothing if he says he wants to go back to that end of the M62?
The only thing I don't understand from Wigan's POV is why Taylor? They've let several players leave relatively easily in recent years, but appear to be digging their heels in on this one. That gives me a suspicion that there's something gone on that they haven't liked.'"
You're absolutely right about this. Wigan have nothing against Hull but, in this case, there's no way we can let him come to you on loan. That would be like saying ''we want a fee or him (having paid one for his services) but, as Hull are unwilling to pay one we'll let him go for free instead!'' I'm sure your club would take a similar stance in similar circumstances. As for the difference to other players we have let go; in general it is the intention of those payers to return, as Joel Tomkins did recently and Sam Tomkins and Mossop (injury situation notwithstanding!) are strongly rumoured to be doing too. That isn't the case with Taylor.

And we got transfer fees for all those players.

| Scott has signed for Salford on a year long deal. He will be in a Hull shirt from 2016 on a 4/5 year deal.

Wigan go as near as they can at present to explaining the situation here without Hull making a statement about the fact that he has already signed for us for 2016.

Hope Salford are happy paying a fee for a player who does not want to play for them. He has obviously told Wigan he wanted to leave to be near their families. FC fans say it was to play for them. Whatever the truth he has left a team where he could have realistically expected to win more honours and will still be playing over the Pennines. I bet he wishes he had kept his mouth shut and seen out his contract. Well done Wigan.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?: |
|
| Quote: Salford coach Iestyn Harris ""We are delighted to have signed Scott Taylor on loan for 2015. It will be great to be working with him again.'"
So Salford will have little if any "ownership" of Taylor during or at the end of the loan period.
Maybe Salford are allowing him to commute a much longer distance than other clubs were prepared to do.

No-one forced Salford to pay a fee so one assumes they are happy with the one year deal as is Taylor.
Koucash and Pearson may even have discussed the arrangement.
