I think that's linked to not getting on top up front - lacking aggression especially when Ellis goes off.

| Hull got out of jail today, a little more composure from Wakefield in the last two or three minutes and we would have been seven points clear with the clock preventing you from scoring twice.
That said it was a good game to watch for both sets of supporters and isn't a disastrous result for either club

Last year we also lost at Widnes, Bradford and Cas and could only draw at London. In 2012 we lost at Widnes, Salford, Wakefield and Rovers.

Did wonder why you didn't go for the one pointer near the end?

Abdul, played at 6, looked a big lad for a stand off, maybe more of a 13 in the Danny Addy mould (build and physique wise). He didn't look out of place and landed a great conversion to your first try off the touchline, which took some composure for a young kid on debut

You didn't lose at ours in 2012 or 2013, much as I try to forget!

| Abdul did okay nothing special. Liked taking the line of making a couple half breaks but never had any support.
As for the game, we had about four or five sets on their line even before Wakey got in our half, and you could tell straight away it was going to be a poor showing in attack from us. Looked clueless, no structure and one man rugby up the middle all afternoon.
Wingers never saw any ball at all barring kick returns. We never looked like scoring at all and when we did it was pretty much falling over the line.
For Lynes try, it was Whitings feck up running at the line trying to kick through. Lyne gathers it brushes off Horne and then just beats Shaul to score in the corner.
Feka was our stand out imo, Tuson was pretty good but tackled everything all game, and was the only one who was managing to stop Wakey winning the tackle every play. The amount if times Wakey found their front was a joke to the Hull players defending.

| In his post-match interview Radford states "I think that puts us really close to Widnes now".By my reckoning we are a point further behind them after this weekend games.

Same old, same old then. Disappointing that we seem to be going backwards. Certainly a lack of quality players to some extent but defensive technique and passing the ball are basics of the game and are something the coach should be addressing in training.
I'm not fully aware of what coaching personnel we have but if it is just radford and last then there is no wonder our attack is failing. What real knowledge of the nuances of attacking play do either have? You can point to wane, anderson and mcdermott and ask the same but I'll bet all 3 have good quality assistants around them

It was Sykes intention to do so, unfortunately for us the Hull defender was too quick for him.

| Radford seems quite happy with a draw and performance,6 points down with 7 mins to go, a point is a result, but the performance overall was poor and we look a very ordinary side, considering we were not far off full strength.

| Listened to your game on Radio Leeds whilst washing my car, that's as exciting as my Sunday afternoons get when Rovers are not playing........
Anyway in between the Rhinos stuff it seemed like a great game of Rugby League which ebbed & flowed all along.
Think you guys are being a bit harsh on yourselves today, Wakefield beat Wigan last week and this was not a good time to play them.
Quite how you lost at home to them whilst they were in a black hole that I cannot understand.
Today was never going to be easy although I disagree that a draw was as good as a win for you. A draw keeps you below Rovers which obviously is where you should be.
Radio Leeds thought it was a tight game but that Wakefield should have edged it especially when having ample opportunity to kick a drop goal when 6 ahead with time running out. All along I kept thinking I'd settle for a draw it was as good as a Wakefield win for us really.
Afterwards I stepped back a pace or two to admire my newly polished car shining brightly like new in the late afternoon sun. Rovers had disappointed again this weekend but at least the table still says we are the better than Hull.
