58058_1310484944.jpg Love my Rugby League.
The game will survive in North Wales. Too much work and effort has been put in, to let it go to waste. We have an appetite for this sport and we'll make it work.
You're likely to see me in a Crusaders shirt, in a Warrington game or a Catalans game.

| I've only seen a few of your games this seen. A few live and a few on Sky. It must be a very dissapointing season for you all. Hopefully, now Agar has gone, you can re-build under new management.
When you played Crusaders a few weeks back, you impressed me. I know Crusaders were poor, but I thought you put on a very good display and similarly at Castleford. Today, I thought you would have put in a good battle, but you were never in the game. I thought Sharp had a good game when he replaced Whiting and I didn't think Turner did too badly either, but apart from that, it was a flat performance. Kicking game was poor and you were constantly turning the ball over. Leeds weren't very good today either, but sadly they didn't need to be.
This is just how I see it. I'm not having a dig at you, as I still thoroughly enjoyed my day and really wanted you to progress to the next round.
I hope next season can be an improvement and will see Hull FC back up there.
Thanks for making us all from Crusaders welcome today

your not wrong at all m8 yet another non performance and result under agar against a top team in a big game, same problems such as attacking structure and lack of kicking game which weve had for a few years now in which hes failed to address

Probably his knee then if Dr Agar is diagnosing the injury.
Don't worry about Webb. Leeds have immunity against assaulting opposition players in that corner of the ground. Remember Gary Connolly's swinging stiff arm on Preckie's forehead in the Challenge Cup a few years ago!!!!

Kevin Sinfield is a UTILITY player, but his best position is a loose man
I don't think you understand the term 'utility' properly. C. Ronaldo, Rooney and Messi can all play in pretty much any position across the midfield or forward lines for their clubs, you wouldn't class them as 'utility' players would you?
The term 'utility player' has some negative connotations because it suggests that the player in question has never been quite good enough to nail down a definitive starting position. Nonetheless, a good utility man can add a lot of value to even the best squads (e.g. the likes of Phil Neville and John O'Shea when they were at Man Utd). While he's been shown up a few times lately on the wing, I can't think of a better utility player in SL than Whiting and he has no place on your list.
Aside from him and Lauaki (who I'd still like to see given a year under a proper coach) I agree with all of your OP. Horne getting a 2 year deal was criminal given his ongoing injury problems for the last five (five!) years and Radford doesn't get a harsh enough ride from the fans IMO, he's a shadow of the player that was winning things at Bradford and the only leadership he's shown over the last couple of years is in making snivelling excuses for his pal Agar.
Since it appears we're now using Wakey as a dumping ground for our deadwood, perhaps we can do them a 'buy two, get one free' deal on the rest of our rubbish?

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

| Richard Horne super league apps.
2011 - 25
2010 - 13
2009 - 24
2008 - 3
2007 - 26
Maybe it wouldn't have been so high if he'd have refused to play until he got his injury problems sorted, but he'd have been slagged off for that as well.
Radford will probably be 4th or 5th choice prop next season and by the end of it he may be 6th.

I'm not sure what appearances have to do with it? I respect the fact he dragged himself out onto the pitch when he didn't have to, but the point is that Horne isn't good enough anymore, largely due to his ongoing health and injury problems. The club has been more than fair to him and his family in giving him a chance to get back over the last few years but, through no lack of effort, he hasn't managed it. Therefore giving him a two year deal this year was criminal.

| From the games and footage I've seen Horne has been one of our better players again this season.
We've got a few better players already signed, not to mention coach, with their ball handling and organising ability I expect Horne to shine.

| Radfords still got another year to run, hopefully Gentle won't play him at 13.

'One of the better players' in another season of huge underachivement isn't much to write home about though is it? Especially when he plays in one of the most important positions on the park. I've no doubt that next year the vast majority of our players will look a hell of a lot better next year due to the reasons you mention, but for Horne to have any chance of 'shining' he'd have to do something he hasn't managed for 5 years and that is remain fully fit.
The most telling question for me when Horne got his new deal was 'who would have signed him if we hadn't?' The answer is undoubtedly nobody that we aspire to be competing with. I do respect him immensely though and hope he proves me wrong.

| Hopefully with 2 Scrum halfs signed we should never see Horne play 7 again, his form should improve when he can play his natrual game.
He needs to get himself 100% fit in the off season and hopefully Gentle won't play him if he isn't 100%.
I don't see any better stand offs available for next season at the moment.

You describe decent reasons for giving him a one-year deal, two was unforgivable IMO.

I agree, but I doubt he would have accepted a one year deal though.
Lack of quality players here and abroad for next season means the advantage is with the players.
