Quote: JMSports_Ltd "I have been reading these Agar out style threads for god knows how long now and I am still yet to read a single post which states exactly what it is they think another Coach could do better (other than some waffle about Interchanges).
Has anybody posting on here actually attended a training session and had access to session plans and info?
Is anyone on here able to give first hand knowledge of what is said by Rich in the dressing room, on the training pitch, in his tip sheets, at video sessions?
Does anyone on here actually know how he has asked the players to play? '"
All totally irrelevant, we don't need to know any of those things to make a judgement because whatever Agar is trying to do, it isn't translating into results and that's what matters. There are many people who know what a good team [ishould[/i be doing and a hell of a lot less people who are able to actually get them to do it, Agar is one of the former.

The fact is the guy is battling against so many issues I do not understand what it is you think any other Coach coming in would do differently.
For example, last night, less than 24 hours after an embarrassment of a performance, 3 very senior players were smashed out of their skulls with Wille Mason, one of them so bad he fell down the stairs, in the City Centre.
Is that right do you think? Professional? Agars fault?
'"
Are you kidding? If that sort of thing is going on then of course it's down to Agar to do something about it.

Your CEO decided that instead of being at the KC Friday night supporting his team and coach he would go on a weekend break.
Is that right do you think? Professional? Agars fault? '"
Again, is this a joke? Agar's made some daft excuses for us being rubbish in his time, but even he wouldn't dare to claim that the Chief Exec not being in the directors box is a reason for us losing a match.

There are two examples from this weekend alone. People could post daily on here with similar examples of how the staff of the club are taking the pee out of the fans.
I can tell you 100% Rich Agar isn't. The guy is busting a gut to try and put things right and get the best out of the players.
You could argue he signed these people and that he should be able to control them but be honest, how many would of said no to Tansey when he signed?
How many of you would say no when the board bring O'Meely, Fitzgibbon, Luaki, Long etc to you and ask if you want them?
I can understand why Agar is getting the blame and I dont think he has helped himself with his press conferences and certain selection choices but he doesn't like talking to the media and the selections were what he wholeheartedly thought would do the best possible job for that game.
Terry Matterson very rarely does Sky, he is not a media whore, it does not make you a bad coach.
Hopefully Agar will be still in a job for the rest of this season and some of the pi55 takers at the club wont because I feel sorry for you lot who are paying their wages after seeing the state of them last night.
'"
Agar's willingness to try his best isn't really in doubt, it's a question of his ability to do the job and over the last three years he's shown he doesn't have it. It's a fairly impassioned defence from someone who appears to know the man, but it's just another set of excuses. You're quite right in that maybe the club will never reach it's full potential unless deep-rooted changes are made to numerous areas of the club, but that alone isn't reason enough for Agar to keep his job. I'd put my house on Noble doing a much better job given identical circumstances.
