| Did anyone make it to A>>>>>> in Leeds last night? Cracking gig, might even go to see them in Manchester tomorrow now. Jason said after it's going to be an anuual Xmas tour.
Can't remember the full set list but they played; Old Folks, Nothing, Ocean Pacific Blue, Lake Tahoe, Foghorn. Packed venue and lively mosh pit, took me back 10 years in a flash.

Pretty sure they did. Alice In Chains - cool, saw them many years ago. Great live band.

| Quote: The Dentist Wilf "Motorhead played Hull City Hall June 1982 Lemmy fell off the stage and was the loudest gig they had ever had there. The bass was so loud it knocked loads of dust out of the organ. The next loudest was in 1987 when WASP played, but Judus Priest were the best they used machine guns and Harleys on stage. The roadies rode the Harleys up the main staircase at the Hall to get them in. Sorry good memories though'"
Remember seeing motorhead a couple of times at leeds queens hall in the early 80s, think the music was a bit naff but amosphere was good, did a bit of "casual" work at that time for solid entertainments when bands used to be at city hall, had a regular job at the time but if it was a band i liked i used to throw a sickie and go work there instead, get all the gear in during day, go headbanging forra couple of hours on pay then get all the gear back in the wagons afterwards, was always knackered by the time got finished usually well into the early hours but i loved it. one particular time when saxon was here always sticks in my mind, how we got that 3/4 tonne eagle of theirs up them stairs without trashing any of city halls wall paintings god only knows

NOW THATS WHAT I CALL MEMORIES!!
loudest I ever saw at HCH was by far a band called Budgie!!
closely followed by Saxon
worst was Wishbone , utter poop...
Saw Motorhead on New Years Eve 2001 in Ft Lauderdale FL on the Beach, a sort of beach version of Monsters of Rock with Whitesnake, journey etc... awesome!!
and some serious eye candy too

| U2 definitely confirmed - always being one of those bands you'd watch but wouldn't go out of your way to for me. Heard Muse are nailed on for the Saturday night which would be good.

I'll check it out, Diggers just got back from California, he said AIC were getting played everywhere. They're the band of the moment out there.
I've got no other gig's lined up at the moment, other than tickets for the reformed Reef in April.

| I'm gutted that Pearl Jam are playing Hyde Park on Fri 25/06/10, this clashes with our home game against Catalans.
Here's hoping they decide to add more dates, hopefully around this area.
