| We need another forward and without a non fed spot available we wouldn't likely have picked up anyone better without paying a fee and even then the other club has to want to sell.
Good move IMO. I thought he copped some unfair flak when with us before and he's a hard worker with a decent engine on him. He was always well up on the number of tackles and he's a big unit so if we use him correctly he'll certainly add something. I'd prefer to see him used wide out rather than in hadley's current ball playing role but hopefully he's jrer to work hard as he's getting near to last chance saloon if he's going to realise his undoubted talent.
As for abdul, he has some talent but doesn't have the speed for a half back or the physique for back row in a side with aspirations of top 4. i hope he goes to rovers if he does leave and that he does well there

It's is last tackle stupid penalties he gives away that destroys me about him , cut them out and stupid big hit miss tackles he attempts and sticks to the simple stuff done well, he could do ok

I heard That Washy has a new one year deal on half money with a place on the coaching staff for 2020. Apparently Radders was not in favour but him and Lasty had a few heated words and this was the end result. Obviously I wasn't in the room at the time. It's just what I've been told. I think Mini could be on his way. What is he, 36?

I find it hard to believe radford would re sign a player he didn't want just because andy last did want him.
I thought mini had a really strong running game last night but remains to be seen if he can stay fit. Certainly looks in better shape than many players younger than him

He also clocked off on occasion but I think a lot of that was fatigue as he generally played the full 80. Needs to play wide out for me where he could be really good but I suspect he'll play down the middle and rotate with hadley

Yeh I do to, just need to give him simple instructions , run hard , tackle hard , look for an off load , I don't want to see him with ball in hand in set plays to often , tried and tested , he's not good enough

Can't disagree with you Jake regarding Mini's form. Like Ellis, a consummate professional. As you say, keeping him fit is the key. I would imagine there's a little more to it but it's good to know that they have such a strong working relationship. Sometimes at the top you need a strong right hand man and to be able to concede the odd point if it's the right thing to do.

| He needs to be told to run for the posts and not appoint himself as first receiver on every play. Just hope Radders can manage him well enough to get him fitting in with our style.
Two significant benefits to him coming back are he was always a vocal presence in the pack which we seem to be missing when Taylor is off/blowing.
Second is his absolutely massive boot, although I'm not sure he'd be much better than Connor at goal kicking.

| I'm just going to put my trust in AP, LR and Gaz Ellis
I've had that much egg on my face over the last four years, I should know better by now.
Radders can't be that much of a bully, and he must be generating a good atmosphere at the club, as ex players are eager to return and play for him.
Abdul hasn't convinced me to be honest. As JTP alluded to, he's caught between being a back and a forward and is not convincing as either.
Anyone who spits their dummy out won't last long at FC now.
The deal is all in our favour so we have nothing to lose. Hope he gets fit and does the business for us.
