We were a couple of points behind but they were literally on the ropes, then up stepped Silverwood to make a heap of momentum changing decisions. That's what he does and he'll do it again tomorrow if he has to.

all these people claiming Silverwood will decide the game make me cringe.

Can't say I'm a big fan of Silverwood but I shall reserve judgement on his performance until after the match.

They're not far off though. He's one of the worst officials around for bias towards the top sides and has been for as long as I can remember.

If it's a close game you can guarantee he'll make some game-changing calls. He does it every time.

I'm not a fan of Silverwood when he's reffing the big four sides. He always tends to give all the 50/50's their way.

That said he shouldn't affect the result.

Which is my point, if we are good enough to win we will win, if we don't then we shouldn't look to be blaming the referee, and certainly not in advance of even seeing what he does tonight.
