| I seem to remember Briers not being picked due to his attitude. I'm sure some GB/England coach insinuated that was the reason.....

Briers (if he would play for England) should be picked on form imo. He has played consistently very well since Smith got hold of him. But it doesn't matter because he won't play for England even if asked.
We need to win games by picking form players not worry about up-and-coming kids. The Aussies pick the form players no mattter how old or young they are. Basically McNamara will never pick Yeaman if he didn't pick him for this game. I'm non-plussed by some of the selections and I especially hate it when they play a 13 at 6. Isn't that what we used to do with Hanley, Farrell etc. We've really moved on.

If you are not part of the solution then you are more likely part of the problem...: |

Agree completely. The tried and failed players are still getting selected over the form Super League players and why we think playing a 13 at 6 will work against the calibre of Australia and NZ baffles me.

| Wouldn't surprise me if Jack Reed got a shot at the 4 Nations at the end of the year.

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

Correct he had a huge fall out with Noble and it all stemmed from there, always there or there abouts the best in the UK but his maverick attitude didnt fit the bill.

He has never fallen out with Noble. They actually are quite good friends. But hey, make things up if it makes you feel like you're ' in the know '

I'm very surprised to say this but i agree with ICECREAMMAN. This was on Boots n All once, in an interview with Briers. Think that Angela Powers was interviewing him and it was mentioned.

Don't get me wrong, Briers was annoyed that he didnt get picked for GB, but it was NOT because of Noble. Noble had the choice of one happy player from Warrington or three unhappy players who had been in the squad for years. He made his choice.
