The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

Looking at your clubs financial governance do you think he fits the profile?'"
That's because they over spent, we are able to spend the cap.

So were Wigan and Bradford. Theres the cap and then there's the cap... My point being that I think Noble would want full control of the purse strings and I'm not sure your board would want that.

Of the £1.65 million he should have, if there's any money for transfer fees the board will let him know.
The Bradford and Wigan examples were only allowed to happen because the board let it.

Thanks for that sanctamonious claptrap, Noble nearly bankrupt the Bulls, and the Wigan success was down to McGuire. He did a good job at Crusaders I agree.
I don't want him at FC, he is not what we need to move forward, if Noble were the top coach that some claim he'd be coaching, not poncing around with Mickey Rourke.

That's not what McGuire says. In any event, he took them from rock bottom to genuine contenders.

it's opinion at the end of the day, and my opinion is that I don't want him at FC.

I'm undecided. He's a massive upgrade on the current incumbent, but whether he can deliver the success we crave is largely unknown. If he could do with us what he did for Wigan before letting someone else take over I'd be more than happy.

short term to the end of the year I'd be happy with, like you, I don't think he's a long term answer.
But he isn't coaching anywhere at the moment, maybe he doesn't want to be?

I think I'd be happy for him to be given until at least the end of 2012. I don't think such a short term deal (as to the end of this season) would benefit either party.
Quote: Standee "But he isn't coaching anywhere at the moment, maybe he doesn't want to be?'"
A minute ago it was because he's not the top class coach some claim him to be. Make your mind up!
In all seriousness, I reckon he wouldn't take much persuading.

I don't think he has had interest from a club that he sees as being "his standard", he's been and gone as a "top" coach as far as I can see now.

He obviously saw Crusaders as his standard. Has a job become available since he left there?

I don't know, there must be opportunities in Australia etc., even as an assistant at one of the big clubs, for the right candidate. I don't know the circumstances behind him leaving Crusaders either.

He might not fancy moving to Australia. As soon as a job becomes available over here, you can bet your boots he'll be somewhere near the top of the short list. In many ways I hope it's at Hull. If someone else snaps him up, we could be lumbered with a hell of a lot worse than Nobby...

if nothing else, your comments show the following A) some people who claim to be knowledgeable about rugby can make themselves look stupid.'"
the vast majority, myself included who post on this forum probably aren"t that knowledgable about RL - we all have opinions based on our own experiences - that's what the forum is about, giving your opinion however stupid it may seem to you.Even great ex players like Phil Clarke who has forgotten more about the game than most of us will ever know talks like a complete plonker most of the time !
Quote: Graham Richards "B) if Agar ever goes you would have to be an absolute idiot to take the job as you ain't going to please everyone even before you have a team on the park.
'"
Agar will go and i'm sure there will be the usual suspects sending in their CVs to take the lucrative post.Taking flak from us the hard done by fans is all part of the job and is more than compensated with thier salary, plus perks.
Quote: Graham Richards "I ask this in all seriousness. Do people sit at their computers in Hull with cans of Special Brew on hand rendering them idiotic before they type?
'"
I'm not in Hull - i'm just a troll who enjoys a good debate with or without alcoholic refreshment trying to make a contribution to an open discusion, hower idiotic you may find it.
Quote: Graham Richards "The idea that Edwards would even consider coaching us is beyond silly. The idea that he is an unproven coach is frankly laughable. He is a leader of men and one who has innovative ideas which have worked within a sport that he hardly knew before starting. I am no Lawrence Dallaigo fan or RU fan for that matter but he holds Edwards in the highest of regards having considered him an outsider from League when he joined Wasps'" .
fair enough, but the love/lure of money plus the challenge might just tempt him - whether he is good enough I have no idea ! great players don't always make great coaches as we have seen many times
Quote: Graham Richards "Equally anyone who thinks Noble is not good enough is not worth discussing. He is simply the best British coach around and he is available apparently. The question might be asked if he actually wants to do it again. '"
great coach obviously but will they go british again ? maybe Mr McRae will return ?
Quote: Graham Richards "So those two are not good enough clearly but we will go for an untried Aussie assistant on the basis that Brown has apparently done a good job at the Giants without actually winning anything let alone got anywhere near a grand final. Oh and McGuire simply tweaked the 3rd best team in the comp (elimination final in 09) that was developed by Noble.
'"
depends on what you call a good job ? he's done ok but is the criteria for success simply winning trophies or producing a team that will always compete at the highest level ? There are only so many trophies to go around !
Quote: Graham Richards "Still what do I know I'm not from Hull and have lived in the London area for 20 yrs.'" '"
you've managed to answer your own question ! i'm not from the so-called heartlands either so that makes me just as ignorant of the game as youself probably ?
