So have we! it's just that the one Agar got in last summer has been appalling. Opinions on Thorman's signing were mixed at the time but one thing is for certain: he was a hell of a lot better player for Hudds than he's been for us... who's fault is that I wonder?
We'll have to agree to disagree anyway, read my sig for some truely 'laughable' comments.

He played full back for Huddersfield for the last few seasons and never as a scrum half. Horne is never a half back in a million years.
We honestley don't have any half backs and thats why I thought we would fail this season.

I applaud the stance we appear to be taking against some players, but we should enhance that approach by replacing the coach with a proven, quality 1st class coach.'"
Bang on the money!!
Perfectly summed up tonight,by Huddersfield.
Man vs Man -Only Brett Hodgson would get into our 13.
But, their teamwork, and team ethic was light years ahead of us.
Their skills eg catch and pass was done at lightning speed,
all the basic skills was error free.
Wonder who Nathan Brown learnt his trade from??
Was it a certain Brian Smith???

| He won't resign, let's face it he isn't going to get another top flight job so he's hardly going to walk away from the one he's currently got. Personally I think he's clueless, there simply is no gameplan. Can anyone honestly say there was some type of plan out there tonight? We are going to have the same sack the coach threads for the rest of the season, it's as predictable

I'm not sure about that, Reilly was Hudds' fullback for years. I know Sharp moved Thorman there sometimes but I think you're wrong to say he never played in the halves.
If you spotted fatal weaknesses in our squad at the start of the season then fair play to you, as I said earlier I think most fans would have looked at the squad and expected it to finish above the sides i mentioned earlier.

Every other SL side has a decent 7, in the meantime over the years we have spent a wedge of cash on overseas wingers that might aswell not have been here (through no fault of their own), pathetic excuse I'm afraid.

| Agar won't resign. At the end of the day, (whether we like it or not) it is his JOB to coach Hull FC, in the current climate with no guaranteed work lined up, he would be stupid to give up his job. Look at it from this perspective, would anybody on here 'resign' from their jobs atm because they thought they werent performing? I highly doubt it.
I'm not sticking up for Agar, because I along with many other supporters want rid of him, however I just can't see him resigning.

You are wrong about the pre-season predictions. Before the season started, there were many many fans on here (including myself) that were very concerned about our squad. A pack which is nowhere near good enough, the continued embarrassment of having no halfbacks, a backline that is good in parts but paper thin and a coach who is out of his depth.
That opinion was common throughout the threads pre-season and many people, like me, were saying that we will finish in the bottom 4 or 5.
I'm not trying to support Agar in any way whatsoever because he is a nice man who shouldn't have the job that he has our recruitment and retention has been so very pi$$ poor since 2005 that we find ourselves with zero chance of competing with most SL squads.
Who is to blame ?? Kear, Sharpe, Agar, Rule, Hetherington ????? Take your pick !!

| The "fatal weaknesses" are all over our squad for all to see.
Seems that Agar has now finally realised it and has decided that he has another excuse to add to the injury one.
