| Quote: Captain Dave "He has been able to motivate East Hull but whether his teamates would respond to him one cannot say.
If offered the opportunity he would no doubt give it 100% though and may well surprise a few people - especially some of the players who reside in the 'comfort zone'.
It is well known that a coaching career is an aim of his.'"
There has been no evidence of him motivating the team on the pitch in his capacity as captain.

Maybe so but rugby wasn't anywhere near as depressing back then. I reckon Kear will have a job in the Super League as long as he wants one. Can you say the same for any of our coaching staff?

Perhaps the reason that Kear is a huge success at Wakefield and EVERY fan regards him as tremendous head coach is that he has the full backing and support of the board. Last week he had the balls to suspend our best player and most gifted prop at a time when we had lost 4 out of 5 league games and had an injury list that was horrendous. Top man and top coach.
Will you make the top 8?

I agree entirely with your opinions.

Rugby wasnt depressing was mainly because we won some games and actually tried throwing the ball about very occasionally.

| Quote: Ian Weather "Agar has nine super league wins under his belt since he took over as coach and 19 defeats - a worse record than both Kear and Sharp - and the team are getting gradually worse each week. The irony of Brough intercepting Thorman's pass last night wasnt lost on anyone. Whatsmore we play better rugby at the end of a game, by which time they're playing by instinct rather than trying to stick to whatever the coach's game plan is.
Agar has to go - no doubt about it
is it worth us losing against Salford if it means the board are forced to move?'"
you think there is the possibility of us actually winning?

| You are all condemning Agar but the real question is not if Agar is up to the job (clearly not) but who IS.
It is fine reeling off a name of top coaches but why would they want the job at Hull?
You are in a very tight spot because of your board.

| I'd take us getting beat on Friday to hopefully give this club the kick up the back side it so needs but would probably ignore.
This season has gone despite what our illustrious coaching staff would have us believe and I think more embarrasing defeats coupled with dwindling gates should hopefully be enough for the board to understand our feelings and get a decent coach in.

I agree. Radders in my mind lacks leadership on the pitch. He is far to quiet and doesn't seem to get behind the lads nor does he seem to tell his players to up the tempo when its most needed. Not a coach i'm affraid, certainly not while he's playing anyway.

He's not worth much as a player either but that has never stopped us from handing him contracts !!
He offers zero as a LF but we play him there, he offers zero as a SR but we play him there, he would offer zero as a prop but some people want him there and now a member of the coaching staff ????
FFS !!!!

| NO NEW COACHES FROM WITHIN THE CLUB PLEASE (take caps off now)....that is why we are in the mess in the 1st place.
Get Agar, Sharp and Lasty out and get one of Tim Sheen's, Des Hasler or Brian Smith in and let them appoint their own assistant etc.

I think agar has contributed to his own demise with team selection and interchanges. He just is not upto the job.
The board needs to think about some players and what they are doing or not doing and simply pay them off with this years salary cap money (if we are allowed to do that)
I would get Richard Horne into the boardroom and tell him to spill the beans on whats going on behind the scenes. Then wield the axe now and fook the rest of the season off. Get rid of all the sheisters at the club and play under 18s if necessary.
As regards coach, I don't think it matters for the rest of this season. I'll do it if you like.

he's years past his best thats why, he's knackered out. He may only be about 30 but some players age more quickly than others, and maybe all those years of hard work for Bradford has taken its toll. He and Thorman are our worst players by a mile.
first step to saving this club from the abyss is to get a good coach in, the 2nd step is to use the money saved on Crockers wages and pay off some deadwood.
i'd be quite happy for us to play some youngsters and get hammered than see the same boring, lazy faces each week.
