| Quote: "Spent half an hour with Prince back in June at their training complex, he is very keen to finish his career in SL 2014, there is zero chance of getting him 2013 as he's under contract and genuinely believe the Titans have a chance of winning something.
Believe he got the ball rolling with his agent about the move to SL, with Shaun Wane getting a look in first as his daughter works at the Titans. Wane decided Prince is too old which is shame.
He may be getting on but there are no half backs available with his quality, he'd still control games in the way Sinfield does. He would be the stand out player in SL.'"
Zero chance are you sure. Reports coming out of Gold Coast are that they are to release him to take up a 3 year deal with us

On the basis of that and my own feelings - it's a no from me then ( opinion )'"
Qualified at what? Gold coast and Prince were found innocent of all allegations.

He won't leave for 2013 because hes under contract, but he will for 2014 when he's still under contract?

Why would they, clubs don`t usually respond to everything that is written in the papers, the articles in the Aussie press are just a regurgitation of the stories run in the HDM and the FC website yesterday, i personally don`t think that Prince is our target but that is just my opinion, only when we announce who we have signed will we know for definite, not too long to wait now.

Simple really why wait a day like the article's state they are doing just to deny anything.
Like yourself doubt Prince is actually our target but just find it curious that they are waiting a day to either confirm or deny the rumours..

| Whenever we're on the verge of signing a new Aussie player, I think the only accurate indication of how good they'll be is from the forums of their current clubs. The Aussie forums told us McKinnon and Seymour would be crap, and they pretty much was. My initial reaction to signing Prince would be negative, due to his age - and would compare it to us signing Long. However, most of the reports coming from the Titans fans is that they don't want to see him go. This is surely a positive? Our mate Jay is a Titans fan, living in Gold Coast, and he was a Hull FC passholder when he lived over here for 3 years. I can't wait to speak to him!!! Although, for the first time EVER I actually agree with East Hull FC fan - Prince hasn't really shown up in the Premier Sports games this year.

| After reading though all the posts my initial thoughts are that Scott Prince is the Favid Beckham of Rugby League.
He will bring us a lot of experience and great for marketing the club to other future players. It's already giving us good exposure it seems.

| If these reports have any truth to them its win/win, Miller and Prince both have risk associated but both have fantastic upsides, especially when compared to the players other teams are signing.
My preference would be to develop the youngster, we have been there will older players before but the club want to sell season tickets so they may be going all out for Prince. Prince doesn't appear to be crocked like other signings we have made.

My preference would be to have a shot at Miller. Young prospect and had to attributes to be a top top player. Saying that Prince is a quality player. Great ball work, great kicking game (both play and goal kicking) and has plenty of experience. If we get one of the two I am more then happy. Looking at out squad now I'm more than happy its capable of a top 5 finish if not top 4.

| Put simply, Prince would be a fantastic signing for us. And it would give 1 to 2 years for someone to understudy.
On another note, I understand that AP has a 3 week visit to oz planned to see how the nrl clubs do their thang. Sorry if that's been mentioned elsewhere.
