I would cream myself over the thought of having Dureau, but, I tend to sympathise with Standee in part. If the above is true, why the hell have catalans released him? Surely it is pertinent. If he is that wonderful, then it makes no sense.
Having said that, it still might be a gamble I would be prepared to take, but if we come out (as might be likely given our history) and announce a 4 year deal it could once again end in tears and damage us irreparably medium term.

I think there is a lot more to it than his injury..I think he has already fallen out with the coach once and not just him,seems as though since Robinson left,things have changed there a lot.

Well reading Koukash's twitter feed he has more or less offered Sneyd to anyone willing to pay a fee.

I thought I'd read he'd fell out with the coach a while back. Maybe them signing Williams and him being de-registered was the last straw.

Really hope we can sign him, I'd much rather we take a chance on Dureau who has proven himself in SL, especially if we can get him on loan for the rest of the year, than on Campese.

But I've also seen (albeit on Twitter) that we've agreed a 4-year deal with Sneyd and just need to sort out a fee with Salford.

I hope the rumour is right, I'd love us to sign Sneyd, with him being young and British I would expect that AP would be willing to a pay a reasonable fee.

Sneyd signing would surprise me. Yes, he's young and British but we have 2 very good young British halves coming through the ranks. Dureau, however, does seem more like what we are looking for. Experienced, good quality to replace Horne when he retires, and lead the younger halves.
