Be interesting wot the RFL do to Wigan im all for resting the odd player or so but nearly everyone of there starting team is a disgrace and makes a mockery of the league that they don't wanna finish higher, dont get me wrong i atlest we have a good chance tomorrow but not When people have already paid for there travel and tickets

They will probably do nothing, and why should they, all those players will have been picked to be part of the 1st team squad this year and Shaun Wane picks who to play for Wigan not the RFL

Nothing! They are all squad players so Wane can pick who he wants. Makes a mockery of the playoff system that Wigan see no need to win this game as they are happy to finish 4th and play Hudds away rather than Wire.

I'll be there on Friday, hope we take a few fans as the team Wigan are putting out now gives us the potential to finish 5th, but the boys will be down and need our support.

Horne has to start in the halves. Whiting has to be at 13 now, he should have been for the last few seasons but I can only pray that last weekends defeat will at least force this decision. Tickle lucky to be in the squad and really needs to perform to keep the shirt. I actually think a spine of the team consisting of Shaul FB, Horne & DJ (halves), Houghton/Aaron (when free) and Whiting at 13 is very strong.

Anyone in the top 8 can beat anyone else on a given day and it's totally wide open this year.

Would you say the same if Hull FC "rested" an entire first team for a game?

I have no problem with it either. It's all about tactics and Leeds have shown everybody else that finishing in the top 2 does not really matter if you are playing well and confident.

Don't worry, the RFL have a habit of penalising us for breaking the "spirit" of the rules whenever they don't like something we do.

It's a result of the crazy playoff system.

The purpose of a squad is to have some depth to your playing personnel. As far as I'm concerned Wigan are perfectly entitled to name whoever they please. They're not breaking or bending the rules, they're using the staff that they have in the way that they want to.
