Enjoyed the audio always good to get an injection of hope from these events. If we don't achieve something with AP in charge in the medium term I'm not sure if we ever will.

Watched on hull fc live. Panel seemed in a jovial mood especially clarky who was in usual form with a sly dig at rovers early on (someone dropped a pound coin at craven park and hudgell thought it was a hostile takeover). Not much new regarding hull fc but lots of chat about the state if the RFL (AP seems optimistic with new blood coming in at the top and promotion and relegation coming back maybe next year), England v England knights (yeamo & joe arundel not keen). Highlights for me included the guy with the first question not knowing Arundels name (welcome to hull, joe, play well and we might learn your name), clarky winding up yeamo near the end, interesting news of the new academy initiatives and an appearance by Wilf to plug his new book. It never fails to amaze me at these events that you have a room full of fans and when clarky asks for questions only about 3 people put their hands up. Looking forward to the next one.

Just got back too. The club has an unbelievable buzz about the place, the players, owner, coach, off-field progress, everything. Brilliant.

Main points were:

-Chase, Prince and Miller were only ever our three targets.
-Prince was 99.9% signed. Looking for schools in Hull for his kids. Brisbane offered big offer at very very last min.
-We're still on the hunt for a 7, but have taken a "back-step" from signings.
-Away shirts out in Jan.
-Promotion/Relegation and 12 teams in SL looking likely.
-Only was England can improve is by playing Exiles and having more players in NRL.
-Ellis is a beast. Whiting is champion and always in Gentle's 17. Galea has point to prove.
-Seymour is staying. Gentle sees him as a 6, with him, Heremaia, Horney and Holdsworth all potentially playing in the halves.
-AP is the man. He genuinely wants Hull FC to be the biggest and best in SL. Wants 7-8 Hull based players in the team.
-RFL are a farce.

When AP mentioned this, after a sharp intake of breath, I knew we have the right man at the helm. Can you imagine the last regime sat at a fans forum giving us that information, I know I can't. My point is he is straightfoward, honest, open (probably too much at times!) and not just spouting what he thinks we want to hear.

Interesting when AP said he thought that some SL chairmen might finish up on the Board at the RFL. Wonder if he might consider it ?
