Yes I am aware of that but i think we'd both suggest its just a tad a bigger game this time and he is your specialist full back. It's a big call and no doubt he'll get some stick of it doesn't come off

It could be a final and Agar would still make the same call...he is very big on discipline.

I can't believe how fickle some people are. Three weeks ago, most people agreed that Hall had had enough chances, but hadn't proved consistent enough at this level and that it was the correct decision to release him. A couple of decent/good performances later, and everyone's lining up to say he should stay. He has always been capable of good performances - he just doesn't produce them often enough to warrant a place in the squad of a club looking to win silverware.

Regardless of Hall's deficiencies - and I agree with your point about his lack of consistency - I think some people would just rather have him playing and behaving on and off the field when compared to the current incumbent at full back. Says more about Tansey than Hall really.

I agree wholeheartedly that we should have rid of Tansey if he's proving to be a disruptive influence. I even agree that Hall should keep his place this season if Tansey has behaved in a manner that warrants his exclusion from the side. What I don't agree with is the notion that we should keep Hall if we get rid of Tansey (or even if we don't). He's had enough chances, we have plenty of options at centre (he's not a full back), and I don't think he's the sort of player that will take us to the next level.

Agreed. If Tansey goes it does not mean Hall should stay. Hall is not and never will be a full back.

It's interesting that Danny would say this as we all know how he and Thacks alledgedly used to be. It seems like Thacks going and a word in the ear by Rich or one of the new players has done Ticks the world of good.
