Well his form has been patchy and has not been included in any of the squads this season for the first team.

I am not saying I don't rate him but I just don't think it's the right option.

For every Horne there is a player who did not play well, you can't just pick out the successful ones.

Why is he ready?

Looking at the sqauds I cant see anything other than an easy Warrington win.

Hope they play Jack Briscoe at FB instead of Hall though, playing Hall over him just wouldn't make sense.

Agar might think hall can do a better job against wire than jack, then it would make sense.

In Agar's head maybe, but after watching Hall play there it really would be a poor move, added to the fact he wont be here next year and isnt a FB.

Well Agar knows JB better than any of us so he may know that he is not ready, Hall might be the next best bet.

at the end of the day we wont know unless we try him. I've seen numerous players look poor in the reserves like whiting but they then look great in the first team. I'd take a calculated gamble and play jack. Nothing to lose and if he has half of his brothers temperament he'll do ok

That's true. Either way I can see reasons to pick him and not to pick him, RA knows best so will be happy with what he chooses.

I saw Jack play on quite a few occasions last season and he impressed me every time. This season has been a different story and he has looked average at best on the (granted only) 3 occasions i have seen him.
It could be the case however that he feels a little stagnated in the reserves and he needs the challenge that a first team call up would bring him. The only way to find out is to give him a shot.
