| Quote: R.B.A "O'Meley has put his hand up to play. The ball is in the medical staff and Agars court now. On the flip side James Webster has been quite specific in his desire not to play but it hasnt stopped Agar trying to twist his arm. I dont reckon he will play thursday but i bet he does before the end of the season.'"
shouldn't play unless fully fit same goes for any player in most circumstances and as such would give horne a runout in the U20's if possible to prove his fitness and give him so gametime.
ATEOTD it is a derby but much more important to have our better players fit for the playoffs if we want any chance of progressing through them at all.
i would line up as below for the derby.
Tansey
Calderwood
Turner
Yeaman
Briscoe
Washbrook
Whiting
Radford
Houghton
Dowes
Manu
Tickle
Fitz
Subs
Lauaki (play as a prop)
Moa (if not fully fit cusack)
Burnett (rotate the backrow and don't expect Manu, Tickle & Fitz to do the full 80!)
Nicklas
We have to start playing reserves in their respective positions when we have injuries instead of switching players constantly around ie Nicklas on the bench

to ease him into the game i would give fitz a break around 20-25 minute mark, shift Washbrook to LF so we have an extra pivot on the field so he is not expected to run the show but assist our other 'playmakers'.
Then dependant on how well nicklas is going ie if he is struggling put Washbrook back in the halves and put fitz back to LF or if he is going well simply switch Washbrook for Fitz around 60-65 minute mark.
this would hopefully give nicklas much needed experience and allow us to rotate fitz and not burn him out

| Apparently o'meley and moa both involved in full training, does anyone reckon there's a sneaky chance both may play?

You'd think, wouldn't you? FC's chances with no half backs are minimal anyway and derbies are usually intense in the forwards, so why risk our best player if he's not really fit? Barking mad.

Don't need to tell me that, tell the person who is hell bent on playing players out of position.
