| Didn't feel like a grind TBH - after what we've seen over the last 2 years some of it was champagne rugby. Standouts for me were Turner and Tansey, Long looked lively as did Sam. Very good 1st stint from Manu also. We scored some decent tries tonight and nilled them in the second half. Job done.  |

Wouldn't go as far as champagne rugby but i thought we played some better attacking stuff tonight than last week. It does seem to be improving week on week and thats a good thing. I would agree about Turner and he was my MOM tonight closely followed by Tansey and Long.
Special mention to Whiting in the 1st half with 1:09 left on the clock and we had a drop out he hid the ball behind his back till the ref called time off. Silly little thing that shaved off a good 15-20 seconds at the end of the half.

I pointed that out to my mate who hadn't noticed. Whiting, looking angelic, with the ball stuck up the back of his jumper!
And there were some very well taken tries tonight, Turner and Tansey being particularly good.

I was a tad disappointed with the attendance even if it was a very slight increase on last year's game. We are still on course to beat last season's average though.
