I understand very clearly and I have no problem with opinions, however like Carl did with his very good post (that I still didn't agree with but respected), you should learn to back up your opinion rather than just saying wrong.

I hope we look at BJB, he is quick, scores trys and good in the air.
Carney would be a great player, but comes with too much trouble.
Charnley might be an option, but think he will start with Burgess leaving.

| I like Gelling, still rough around the edges but he's powerful and has plenty of skill, he makes mistakes but he will learn. Think he is a Cook islander so don't think we could fit him in.

| I seem to remember a few on here in the know stating how much we where overloaded with back rowers to backs. Maybe that was already being addressed? Maybe Pearson should be cut a bit more slack imo

I had a bit of a hissy fit when we switched attention from the backs to the back row. I'm wondering now whether this was planned all along. I'm not certain we would have resigned Michaels if it was but I'm chastened enough to wait and see who we bring in before criticizing our management further.

You'd be birds of a feather if that was true. However, I've seen nothing to suggest Dave fits that bill at all.

Can you prove any of those?
No, didn't think so.
Nope, niether can you disprove it.
However there are quite a few pointers.
Supposedly a bad influence off field, one that Radford wants stamping out.
On field performances a bit hit and miss, certainly this season he's been off the boil to the standard we should be expecting of him, an England international. I think he's a decent LF as I've stated many times, on his day a great tackler and can break the line, decent ball handler & can kick goals if need be. However as many have said whilst he's not the worst in the squad he should be doing better more consistantly.
The signings, again, as everyone said, loaded in the back row, VERY loaded! Signing a player like CT whom is a 6 though can play centre means that for Abdul to get ANY game time means either Pryce is left out of the 17 every week and JA is the starting 6 (v.unlikely) or we make room in the back row. With Minicello, Ellis, Manu, Pritchard as four big names, where were we going to squeeze them in as well as Abdul? unless you are already planning to lose a 'big name' backrower it doesn't add up to be able to have JA AND our starting backrow plus 2 props, plus either 2 backrowers or one backrower and Washbrook on the bench. To suggest JA is loaned out would be disgraceful in the extreme.
Finally, knowing full well his contract would be up at the end of next season and not getting any fee at all plus as has been seen players wanting to move on and try their hand elsewhere (to gain success), it makes total sense to build a squad (which we have done) knowing that we had every intention of gaining the maximum from that player and releasing him.
If you can't see the logic in that, that's up to you. To me it's been pretty obvious tbh.

| I think getting rid of Westerman has me more excited about next season now, if they get a good back even better.
Think I might renew my pass now, was touch and go before.

| Joe has needed to move for a purely monetary purpose. His personal life requires a need for some of the transfer fee involved between the 2 clubs. It's nothing to do with any problem with Hull FC, Radford or anything else Hull related.

I am not here to disprove anything. Your comment on any earlier post said you didn't believe anything which came out of the club. Thats your stance, and fair enough. Don't read it then! There is not point if you not only do not believe its (without proof) but are actively getting uptight about it and feel the need to attack the club.
Could it possibly be the situation that Ellis's surgeon has told the club that he expects absolutely no further issues with his achiles and that he should be ready for action come the start of the season? Just perhaps, that to be on the safe side we safeguard players under contract in the same position in case the news was not quite as positive?
But of course, this would be a positive outlook. have no idea either way what the actual situation will be. I don't feel the need to doubt everything I read or believe everything I read unless it has a direct impact on me.

| Of course the club knew Joe would be moving on. Otherwise they wouldn't have built the squad they had. They haven't all of a sudden realised the squad was unbalanced and decided to do something about it, have they?

It not just that little bit possible they were waiting to see how Ellis was going to recover before making that decision?
