This was covered a couple of pages back. He isn't at all fast for a centre, but he does have speed of thought. If he can get good early ball and he has a winger of the quality of Briscoe (or Sharp) outside of him, he should go quite well in attack. The problem, as ever with Hull FC, will be giving him the service he needs.

IF Berrigan is not replaced, the club maybe use his contract money, to pay for the transfer fee for Westerman.
We should be targetting Crusaders player(s) ie Sammut,Witt,Withers.or Lupton,they would give a good backup option,and would probably jump at the chance to join a club,which has more job security than their current employer.
Quality players would be nigh on impossible to recruit, but a back up 7 or 9 should be attainable. |

crusaders are looking alot better now recruiting new players and coaching staff, lupton would be a poor signing. if berrigan does go i agree we need to sign a hooker/halfback but i woundt rush into signing anyone i would keep the quota spot available and really show ambition and sign a very good player with the money thats available.

Berrigan wouldn't free up a space as he's not on the quota. The space is available whether he stays or goes. |

yes ino but the 1 quota space we do have available right now i would rather keep it free and bring in a very good player wether thats in the short term or longer term i dont want us to fill it with an average player for the sake of it |

Sammut is not going to Hull Crusaders are not releasing any more players you've got more chance of re signing Paul Cooke, which could be on the cards I've heard.
