I blame Radders.

Before the Catalans game I felt good about our chances against St Helens. Injuries to Sutcliffe and King coupled with Sao's stupidity have lowered my hopes but I do think we can still win this. When we played Wigan we didn't try a forward battle, we spread the ball more than normal in making yards and it worked, think we need to apply the same tactic with Saints as their pack will be probably be too much for ours.

As with us earlier in the season, Saints are in a rut but will eventually come out of it. Think their heads are more likely to go down if the going gets tough. We've seen in the defeats against Rovers and Catalans that we still keep going till the end even when behind on the scoreboard. As good as Leigh were last week, watching Saints last week made me think of some of our capitulations this year.

I'll back us to win by 10

Clearly we are going out with a patched up side, but when haven't we gone out with a makeshift team in this disastrous season? even when we did put out something resembling a first-choice seventeen, it still looked patched up due to our dreadful recruitment policy!!!!

This is the same situation as two weeks ago, no different, before the Wigan game. None of us believed we had a prayer that afternoon, yet somehow we came away with a stunning victory, easily the highpoint of the year.
For Saints, this is about as close to a crisis as they have been in probably the past forty years. St Helens teams don't do losing streaks, it's unheard of!

If we can play with the same attitude and commitment as we have during the last couple of months then we can make the game a contest. The longer we can stay in the game, the more we can play on their anxieties at their losing run. This isn't the Saints team of even last year, let alone the title-winning sides. If it's a close game going into the last twenty, the crowd hopefully will be energised and we can expose their current frail confidence and brittle shortcomings.

Their play-off hopes are suddenly on a knife-edge. We have nothing to lose here. It's a free hit and we should go for it. A few weeks back I would have conceded this as a no-hoper, but now I don't see why we can't repeat the Wigan result.
What have we got to lose here? Let's create some noise and atmosphere in East & South stands and make the once-mighty Saints feel intimidated The atmosphere in the ground was brilliant two weeks ago. If we can put them under pressure, I think they will buckle.

Strange call with Charles, do we think it will be Smith to halfback and Moy interchange dummy half? Or straight swap with Moy in for Charles?

Lets hope he gives Moy a run at Halfback.Smith clearly is not a halfback.

That could get messy, but bet our missing players don't get anywhere near as many mentions on sky as theirs.

Only Fash, lane, trueman and carlos who would have been expected to be in our first choice 17 at the start of the season. Wow

Could argue Fash and Lane wouldn't have been I'd we signed decent overseas players.

Backs aren't too bad, but that pack compared to a very strong Saints pack, there 1 to 7 doesn't look great so hopefully keep us in the game.

Feels like field position might be at a premium unless Saints feel like coughing it up in their own half repeatedly.

no point trying to take them on through the middle, get at them outwide, keep the ball alive, tire them out, play to our strengths not theirs
