I actually convinced myself we had a squad with the ability to challenge for top honours after our opening game that evening at Headingley.
I bet I wasnt alone.

Fonua has been an expensive mistake this time round. He seems to play like he's spent his time away watching his own highlights reel everything is an attempted big hit or offload and all that happens is he loses the ball.
Also the 2016/2017 lineup around him were a lot better so he could play more freely as someone would cover in defence.
