Are you being deliberately thick? If Adam Swift has been to a hospital, caught Covid and subsequently passed it on to Hull FC players and coaches then he is a moron and should sit out the rest of the season with a big fine coming his way. He should have been nowhere near any FC player for two weeks and should have self isolated. Idiocy of the highest order that has only further threatened the future of Super League. Also, if Hull FC were aware that he had been to a hospital and allowed him into the training ground then they should be fined heavily as well. I would hope they weren’t aware until the positive tests came in.

Why the hell would he turn up and surely the club have told any player if you have anything such as a sniffle don’t even turn up. He could have them been tested and they would have caught this before the player got anywhere near the treatment room.'"
This makes it even worse. Unforgivable and completely avoidable. Tevita Pangai was sacked for a much less serious breach. I would argue the player in question here deserves the same punishment.

Refer to my first response and you might realise that it’s you who need to engage their brain.

I wasn’t you clown. How can you possibly think it’s acceptable for a player to go to a hospital and then turn up to training, with symptoms as well.

Don’t remember saying players should lock themselves in the house for three months and seeing as though they’ll be going to training most of the week and also playing once a week I struggle to see how they’d be locked in. Thanks for the completely irrelevant question though.

Indeed. He has a long history of trolling but to do it to score intercity points over a pandemic is particularly pathetic.

Would love you to show me my ‘long history of trolling’ and why would I want to score point? I don’t support either Hull club and couldn’t care less how either do. I do, however, care that a selfish idiot has threatened the fulfilment of TV and sponsorship deals that are vital to the future of rugby league in this country. If you can’t see the problem with what Swift has done then you’re either letting bias cloud your view or you’re as much of an idiot as he is.

Adam Smith’s child was admitted to hospital, no particulars given, cannot have have been C19, otherwise he wouldn’t have been allowed to visit. Government ADVICE is you self isolate when showing symptoms, which he obviously was not. Non playing staff visit the physio periodically, he supposedly passed it on, UNKOWINGLY!!! during one of these visits. Behave yourself, Covid IS highly infectious and the majority of the infected show little if any symptoms, that’s why it ravaged the world. My Mam told me “ if yev got nowt gud t’say, say nowt”. Good advice for you I’d warrant, Mr. Perfect

but if he was asymptomatic for a period he can still be infectious - that's the problem with this virus. furthermore there's no proof he caught it in a hospital - could have been in a shop, from a surface, from another family member. no one knows, its just guesswork

It was reported by the club that the player whoever he is,is currently injured and took his young child to Hospital.Nothing wrong with that in my opinion if you take the precautions set out.
However when he visited the club physio ( dont know the timeline after the hospital visit) he reported not feeling well. This is were the player should have shown more care and attention.
Knowing you dont feel 100% for what ever reason and the protocols in place for Covid 19 at the club he should have telephoned the club for advice before attending the training centre for treatment.
It all hindsight now and damage is done but im sure the club have put further protocols in place to ensure any player not feeling well reports his condition before reporting for training or treatment

What?
Are you acting as Judge, jury and executioner on something that so far is nothing more than pure guess work by the club.
What a dip stick

He might of felt fine before he visited the club physio, and perhaps started to feel unwell during his physio

why go to all the trouble and expense when other measures are far more effective at protecting the vulnerable, are less invasive, has huge longer term benefits and works for not just respiratory diseases but all sorts of issues, it also reduces Health costs massively more without all the BS of locking down and ineffective mask wearing.
Healthy individuals are extremely rarely vulnerable to viruses, it's usually because they have underlying health conditions, 2 people from the 20-40 age groups out of the whole of England's population have died WITH a positive test for something that the test cannot tell what that is. that's over the last 4 weeks.
Compared t last year it's ridiculously fewer deaths and has been since the start of the year and continued being lower throughout, and deaths from respiratory diseases are at a low for at least the last 6 years and never rose above last years 'good' flu year (check ONS register of deaths if you like to confirm that)
Wearing a mask has proven NOT to be a confidence boost, the complete opposite in fact, it means there is danger, it means more restrictions for something that we know factually has less effect/kills significantly fewer people than flu and pneumonia.'"
“Healthy individuals are extremely rarely vulnerable to viruses”. What a silly statement! And that’s me being polite. Ebola, SARS, HIV, BLACK DEATH. Sadly there’s been loads.

remember MrPhil is a Rovers troll.
Whatever the circumstance, it was always going to happen, just unfortunate for us that we are the headline at the moment. I am certain nobody did anything deliberate, the season should just be cancelled if there is a level of concern.
If you took (not you personally) 30 people off the street and tested them, 50% would test positive. Herd Immunity is what will help us all, but we are not going to get rid of the virus. HIV, SARSetc. all still exist, we have learnt how to manage them. Flu is still a bigger threat than anything other than cancer, and that comes in various forms as well.
A bit like the film Dodgeball, duck, dive, dodge, don"t let it hit you, if it does, sit out a round and come back stronger.
