| The coronavirus crisis will be a major problem should we be looking to recruit from overseas. Cannot see many people being keen on moving their family 12,000 miles to a new country over the next six months.
I can see Last and Purtill in charge for the rest of the season.

Thats a fair point.
I might be on my own, but not too keen any any of the Uk options, Wane I like, but his style of play is awful, I want to see us playing rugby, Watson is under contract and I have doubts about him, he has had one good season, based mainly on Hastings.
The only one I quite like is Danny Ward, his teams play good rugby and he did an amazing job last season with very little resources, not sure if he is experiened enough.
I think it has to be from the NRL (Even if it is for later in the year), hopefully use our contacts in the NRL such as Motu Tony and current ex NRL player like Ma'u.

| There’s only a limited number of head coach roles in rugby league.
You’d have thought our position would be highly sought after.

| Could do you with a Maguire type - went into Wigan with an underperforming squad and laid some strong foundations before leaving

| Never rated Radders (as you would expect) but his 2 CC wins and the fact you've had a long run near the top of the table for many years speaks for itself. That said, not sure about his next gig - Ottowa?
As for yourselves - Brian Noble? More likely an overseas coach long term.

Can't see Noble (Out of the head coaches job for too long), id rather stick with what we have than him.
I think Radford will take a deserved break from the game, think he will walk into a job when he is ready.
I wouldn't be suprised to see Mcnamara apply and get it, not sure what I hink about that.

| I think it will be James Ford which will be a very underwhelming appointment initially but has the potential to be a massive success. If we go to NRL route Cameron Ciraldo would be very high on my list of options

For mine, at this moment ..I'd prefer an experienced Head Coach who has a reputation of handling high profile players, Griffin, Brown,Toovey from the NRL perhaps??, from here Powell & Wane would be my choice, but unrealistic...
James Ford or Danny Ward not for me at the time, nor Fitzgibbon....

| Need to act fash as recruitment season starts soon, so need to have some at least appointed in the next 4 weeks.
Anyone have a list of OOC players, I know Houghton and Shaul are, as it stands now I'm not sure I'd be offering either of these a new contract.
Think the new coach has some tough decisions to make.

When we ditched Sheens there was rumours of Ford for us, I was a lot happier when Smith was revealed. Then again, a successful champ coach has to have a chance at some point I suppose.

| Whoever it is I think has to be from outside of the club as just all seemed all too cosy and pally pally under Radford and Last and no real accountability. You could clearly see last night on the field there is a problem in the team, alot was said about Connors outburst at the end of last season but there was quite a bit if that going on on the field last night.
I think an experienced coach who can get a togetherness back in to the squad and toughen them up mentally, get a structure to our game and improve discipline in needed.

| Flanagan , griffin or kearney . Who ever comes in needs to sort the dummy spitting mates culture we seem to have . Some players should have been dropped throughout the last couple of seasons regardless of ego's or senior positions held within the team

I think houghton and shaul will both get back to the best under a new coaching set up, just wish the new coach would of got a pre season with the squad
