| Fully support AP in what he has done & the manner he did it. Style of play 20 years out of date, no clue or ambition in attack.
A style of play which takes its toll on the poor guys being run into brick walls again and again !!
AP been incredibly loyal & supportive of LR, he pays the bills & has bought an all star squad which was destined for an awful season. He has acted decisively & just might rescue this season, fingers crossed. His emotion & mixed feelings were clear for all to see, I really respect that honesty - he is absolutely showing respect for us fans & clearly shares our pain.
Thanks to both for the 2 CC's - can we now PLEASE push on to the next level ??

| Right decision - been saying for a long time that Hull are one of, if not the worst, coached teams in the league.
Desperately hoping you get the next appointment right as Hull should be a big, succesful SL club and a strong Hull FC means a better competition.
Good luck.

| AP gets out of his seat to catch LR to sack him, then tells the tv world before LR had the chance to tell his team, even the official press waiting didn’t know.
Zero respect for a guy who bled b&w

| I didn’t watch the second half, so didn’t see Pearson’s statement etc. What summed it all up for me in the first half was when Fash iirc played the ball and Houghton was stood looking the other way and talking and Warrington took the ball 10 yd’s from our own line. Dropping the ball in our first 2 sets is one thing but Houghton has no excuse for that.

| Quote: Chris71 "What is the issue? AP & LR had a discussion at the very end of the game and decided to part ways immediately. He then is asked by SKY to do an interview and he clearly is emotional about parting ways with a Coach he has backed continually and clearly not a decision he wanted to have to make.
LR had plenty of time while to tell the players while AP was doing the interview. Its laughable to say he was sacked live on tv as even when you watch the interview AP states clearly that he and LR had spoken agreed to part ways.
Why would waiting until the morning make any difference when they had both agreed to part ways? Do you think Lee, the players or AP are going to feel any better for waiting before any announcement.'"
Nail, head, hit.

| look from the outside instead of from a bubble. Few are disputing the decision - but look how many Players, ex players, coaches and other staff within RL are expressing the view the way that this was handled was poor form.
The only ones defending the way this was done are FC fans. It’s tarnished the club but you are blind to see it.

Bullll tttt, ap did the right thing, letting radford do the post match sky interview then sacking him would of been worst. That killed AP to do that, he loves Radford, but was left with no choice for the good of the club

Of course it hasnt you dont like Pearson after the Connor signing and you are looking to point score, most of those ex players where posting straight after the interview, without knowing the full story, which we wont until Radford makes a statement.
I bet you anything we get a whole host of applications who will look at Pearson fir what he is, a very ambitious owner who puts his money where his month is and backs his coach, even when most others are against. A man who has brought more success than most other SL owners. You only to watch his interview to see how gutted he was to make that decision.
The main stakeholders here are the Hull fans who keep the club going, this wont make any different for us getting a decent coach, anyone with half a brain can see the bigger picture and what a good owner Pearson is to work for.

You mean all the band waggoners knee jerking who are saying he was sacked live on tv? which he clearly wasn't. All people who are not involved in the club nor where present before and after the game either.
Anyone watching the interview can clearly see and hear AP is upset about the decision and it seems that it was a mutual decision or quite possibly even Lee himself that made the decision.

My lack of respect for Pearson started well before the Connor signing. He’s constantly hit the low standards I expect of him since well before that time. And continues to do so.
The fact people got the wrong end of the stick still isn’t proof to you that this was badly handled then!
Anyone with half a brain can see that when the likes of tui is even commenting pearson got something very wrong somewhere. You don’t admit on live tv that the players don’t know yet. The mans crass.

| We will have to see how this works out, massive overeraction mainly by other fans who just want a dig at the club.
Up to Pearson to get the right man.

And Talanoa wasn't there nor been part of the club for a while now either, he had a good relationship with Radders who gave him the opportunity so will be defensive to him. If you watch the very first bit of the interview it comes across as its may well have been Radford that called it a day. AP is clearly upset at the decision to part ways. He was not sacked live on air, nor has is it been a surprise after performances over the past few years and even with two Cup wins we were at times pretty poor.
Right decision and waiting 12, 24 or 72hrs isnt going make LR, the players or AP himself feel any better. Would having Radford face up to the media with awkward questions about his future and then announce it a few days later going to make everything so much better for LR? No it wouldnt.

| i dont think anyone can complain, if you surveyed all of the hull fans that were in the stadium, 10 minutes before full time and asked if they wanted radford out, they wouldn't have given 2 tosses how it was done.
I admire pearson for being so decisive, rip that band aid off.
As mentioned elsewhere, radford has been very fortunate over the last few years that he hasn't already been given the bullet, and clearly they've spoken following the catalans game about needing an immediate improvement, and instead you got the worst possible performance you could ever put in.

| No complaints from me regarding both the decision to part ways with Radford and the way it was announced.
Radford has been on borrowed time for a couple of seasons now and I think he knew that. Pearson has stuck by him during that time and he/the club have invested heavily in various areas to equip Radford for success, yet 7 games into the 2020 season the same issues were apparent. Looking back, you could see from his body language at halftime and during the second half that he felt that was it. I'll be eternally grateful to Radford for those Wembley memories and the sheer effort he's given to the role those years, that should never be undervalued or forgotten.
Reading AP's interview this morning in the Yorkshire Post, it's clear that the announcement last might wasn't from a malicious place, he was still upset about having to speak to Radford & make the decision a short time before. It would've been stranger having had the conversation with Radford, which sounded pretty mutual to be honest, Radford then comes out and fronts up to the press.
What's baffled me is the sheer amount of people that didn't listen properly and thought he was sacked there and then on air. Some people are so odd.
Anyway, cheers Lee and fingers crossed we get the right man in.
