| Probably come at the right time all in all, failing to take chances is the reality check you want when you're 80 minutes from grand final.

Us, wigan and wire have the best defences in SL so pretty much cancel each other's attacks out. There has been nothing between us and wire/wigan in our games against us this season. We've scored plenty of points and have the 3rd highest number of tries scored so it's ridiculous to say we're not creative at all. It's easy to throw the ball around like cas when you have nothing to play for and can't defend but when the games are important then you have to play the percentages. We created plenty last night and should have won comfortably but we didn't take the chances and therefore deserved to lose.

| I thought we got dominated in the forwards, they made easy yards why we struggled, we looked better, certainly early on when we went wide and had 3 great chances, which we took none.
7/8 sets on their line in the 2nd half without threatening, although you have to say Wigans defence was great, a bit like ours.

Defence and forward power is our strength but to say that we aren't creative is silly, last night we created some chances from some good rugby in the first half, just failed to take any.

We've scored some great trys this year and lots of them. Cas might play the entertainers style of rugby but brutal defence is entertaining to watch as well. Plus it wins you more games so I'll stick with our formular ta.Enjoy your end of season friendlies

| Watched the final try back and it always astounds me how little Wigan celebrate. Half of them look bloody miserable to be there at all every week.

| Wigan made loads of yards around the ruck left us on the floor at marker, fair play to them as they push their luck all the time at PTB, hands in etc..then we try it & get pinged for it, gelling did it to yeamo, we got nothing then he milked it & gets a penalty, very frustrating & that's how momentum can change for a team, because before that we was camped in their half.

Oh Dear. There is only one person embrassing themselves here and it's you.
Hull have played some of the most entertaining Rugby League in the division this year, and across the park instead of say, just down the left side. Some of the flying tries Talonona has scored, barging runs through multiple defenders by Mini, Fonua running rings around defenders, tries scored off high bombs, grubbers, length of the field tries involving nearly every player on the field.... We have one of the most successful, imaginative and unpredictable attacks in the division, and one of the best defences. We are in the Semis with games to spare, and have won the challenge cup. Consider yourself owned.

| It was a tough game Wigan just wanted it more in the last 15min similar to the cc final only this time it was the other way around.
Hull need a dominant pack for the backs ro shine and Wigan managed to win that arm wrestle when it counted. Think offensively hull have more to offer than Wigan. But pies structured play can undo teams if they allow them or don't read the play
I'm loving the end of this season there are still 3 teams who can win the lls and we've stilll to play them both. Win or lose super league has won. People say quality has dropped I dobt see it!

| Probably/possibly 3 team will finish on 40 points but our superior points difference could/should see us 2nd. I'm not bothered about LLS and think it could be an unwelcome distraction for us (although I'm sure pearson would welcome the £100k). For me I hope us and wire win next week making the final game against them a dead rubber and we can take a view and maybe rest 2 or 3 players for the week after. Even getting to the GF would be a massive achievement after winning at wembley which I think took more out of the players emotionally than we can probably imagine

No matter what happens in the next few games, this season has been amazing, probably the best I have seen as a Hull fan, good young side to build on also.

Been saying this to my old man since the cc final. No one remembers the LLS winner, I'd much sooner secure second and be able to rest a few in the wire match so we're fresh for a home semi rather than effectively playing another final for the LLS and having an emotional/physical hangover like last week.

LLS winners 2011-2013 were Warrington, Wigan, Huddersfield. None of them got to the Grand Final.

| To be honest I thought last night we should have won and created the chances on the first 40mins but daft errors or wrong options saw us fail to capatilise. Then in the 2nd half we got sucked into the arm wrestle that Wigan wanted. We backed off from our usual game in the 2nd half. For me Wigan didn't win it we lost it and not often this season have we said that since the Widnes debacle. So fir me losing last night I ain't too disappointed as we also seemed to have a few players with knocks last night Mini, Taylor & Tank.
Still not convinced Carlos at 6 works for us but Sika Manu has come into his own in the latter part of this season.
