| Just seen the try's, some well worked try's for both teams.
Sneyd has the joint most drop goals in our SL history (R Horne) in just over half a season!

yes it makes a big difference when you add that one point towards the end of a game making the other team score twice.Puts a spring in the step of the players
Im still disappointed with his conversion rate from nr and touchline conversions.

| Me too and I'm sure he us too,but he is playing really well at the moment, gets the ball moving fast, good kicking game and drop goal king, we have won 4/5 games this year we would have lost last year, amazing what a difference having two halfs is.

Good stats from yesterday, all the forwards made good yards and defended really well, they really stepped up ans once we stopped making silly mistakes, we took control. They did a great number of the likes of Millington who has been great this year.
Thought Lineham did a great job on Carney, after his first run in which he knocked Tom off his feet, he really kept his go forward down and kept him quiet.
One of the first times this season we have had less ball that the opposition and won the game, which shows that our attacking play is getting better.
Lastly great stats from Rankin, after his early mistake he went on to set up 2 trys, 11 tackle busts, 3 clean breaks and 216 metres.

I thought Rankin had a cracker.
Our side need players like him who can 'magic' something from nothing, as our pi££poor set moves don't lead to much. In the stands yesterday I still noticed a vocal minority getting on his back quite a lot. I wonder if some people see him a bit like a villain in keeping Shaul out of the team?
Really happy with the two centres too and the way we tried to get them early ball.

That's the feeling that resonates around some of those where I sit. Mind you it's the same lot that were always on about Shannon Mc being shizzle and that Shaul should be playing "cos hes better innit".
Yes - Shaul can create something out of nothing but there is just something lacking. IMHO of course.

I like them both and would liked to see them both in the 17, at the start on the season I thought we should have tried Rankin at centre, but that has gone now.
I hope we have made a decision about who he wants to be his long term FB and acted on it.
